Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaBoth check in and check out we had problems with the manager. Late in the night check in he took forever to give us the room keys, In spite of paying for the full stay he took forever sweet time to give me the keys. my kids and family were exhausted. Checkout we requested to extend for another 12 hrs and paid him. some misunderstanding happened and he told us to vacate at 9 PM when my flight was next day early am from cairo airport. The manager is a bit rude. Breakfast was minimal with some bread , boiled eggs and cheese and juice packet. We paid extra for daily breakfast in bookings.com
The location is a biggest plus. right opposite to the GIza Pyramids complex. Breakfast is very basic and just to munch something. We took a 2 bedroom unit. it was clean and spacious. lower service staff are very polite and accommodating and cooperative. Value for money if you want to stay here. Only thing breakfast is very basic so not great if you have kids. The photos of breakfast on terrace does not happen in winter months it seems

United KingdomThere were several issues with the room that detracted from our experience. The air conditioning unit was faulty, causing water to drip and eventually flood the room, soaking our belongings. Furthermore, the WiFi did not work throughout our entire four-day stay, despite the owner's claim that it was due to an area-wide internet outage, which I later found to be untrue. Another downside was the high price of the hotel compared to others in the area. Additionally, the surrounding area seemed rundown, and stepping out of the hotel meant encountering scammers and street vendors. While some individuals were genuinely trying to make a living, many were engaging in scams. Hasan and Ziad were instrumental in protecting us from these scammers on multiple occasions. In conclusion, while the hotel had its positive aspects such as the exceptional staff and convenient location, the room issues, lack of WiFi, high price, and surrounding area's challenges left me with a less than perfect impression. I would recommend improvements in these areas to enhance the overall experience for future guests.
I had a mixed experience that left me unable to give a perfect score. The standout feature of the hotel was the incredibly helpful and polite staff, particularly Hasan and Ziad. These two individuals went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met, and their service truly made our stay more enjoyable. I also want to mention the young person who prepared our breakfast; he was also very courteous and accommodating. The hotel's location was convenient, as it was just opposite the pyramid ticket office and offered a nice view of the pyramids from the rooftop. Additionally, having KFC and Pizza Hut nearby, as well as access to grocery shopping, was quite convenient. The junior suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of five.

United KingdomEvery room needs bit of maintenance which they don’t. Like , they have assigned us one room which was having a problem in washroom , they knew this after then also they have assigned us. But next day they shifted us in a good room . Breakfast was misleading and not enough food was provided. 2 things to be noted, no lift facilities and no buffet breakfast.
The location and view of the Pyramid from room is really good and hotel is just opposite of the pyramid entry gate ticket counter. Room facilities were really good.

United KingdomBreakfast was below average, very basic, I was allergic to many items they served ( the same every morning) hence all I could mostly eat was a banana. The staff would knock at our door every morning 7/7.30am to ask what time we will have breakfast--now this was okayish for me because I was already awake and getting ready but for people who wanted to have a lay in, not so good. Cleanliness was not acknowledged during our stay. We had to request anything we needed such as toilet tissue, other than that they did not clean the room even once. One of the bathroom doors in our suite was broken, literally just standing unhinged on the side and once even fell on my mum (luckily not badly injured) but this is a health and safety risk especially if there is kids around.
Amazing stay at Sky Pyramids. Staff were helpful, location was brilliant, waking up to the pyramids everyday. Nice stay for a family.

Turkeythe surrounding area is very very dirty and noisy. many dogs on the stresten barking all the nigjt preventing you from sleeping. the roads are full of garbage and animal stool. staff showed us a different room than we reserved saying that it is full. i think that is an unacxeptable thing, if not why we search for long times to find the room we want. I chosed this hotel for the very reason that i reserved a süit room having two seperate bed rooms. we stayed in the room they showed, having nothing to do. but this is unacceptable. some of the towels in the room were realy realy dirty, having yellow and red things on it, feeling disgusting. this made us all think that everything in the room is dirty, evet they are not.
the location is fantastic, you see the pyramids from your bed.

South AfricaWhen you see the hotel from the outside it looks very dilapidated, but once inside the rooms, it is very modern. I suppose that is Egypt! Not all guests may enjoy the breakfast as it is very Egyptian.
The location to Giza pyramids is very good. You have to accept the noise in that part of town. The family suite we stayed in was very spacious and clean with 2 full bathrooms. Highly recommended. Very good value for money with very friendly staff that can speak English. Not all guests may enjoy the breakfast as it is very Egyptian.

FranceIt’s noisy at night, so bring earplugs to block out the noise and you’ll sleep great. We must’ve been unlucky because on the second day of our two-night stay there was only one man on duty who treated us like we were inconveniencing him when we asked for breakfast and didn’t offer any hot beverages despite a cold wind. When I asked for coffee he rudely showed me the mini bar in our room and didn’t offer any milk.
Fabulous view of the pyramids from our room and the rooftop. Most of the staff were very friendly and on the first day we were served a modest, but decent breakfast and offered coffee or tea with milk and sugar.

We were thrilled on arrival to find out that the rooms looked exactly like in the pictures. We were a group of 6. We booked the Junior Suite and an additional deluxe room. Rooms were spacious, clean and included cutlery and a mini fridge. Bathrooms were great and clean. The hotel was literally opposite the pyramids, a stones throw away. The views from the Hotel terrace were magical. There are also small convenience shops opposite the hotel and various restaurants within a 5mins walk which is very handy. Abbas, Abdo and Farad were excellent, tended to our every need without hesitation! Breakfast was great with very limited choice. Highly recommended. Thank you Sky Pyramids Team and will definitely visit again.

NetherlandsThere wasn't much information about the breakfast, where to be. My feedback is to leave something like a flyer in the room to welcome people and give them information.
It had a great view, you cant describe it actually. First I was a bit hesitant to book since it looks new and has not much reviews. But for the price/location it is really good. I would definitly come back here. The breakfast wasn't like the pictures, basic but okay.
