Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere's no restaurant at the property but there are some excellent restaurants nearby. We went to the Tree Lounge, just down the road, which was excellent.
Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, especially Mohammed Nagy who met us at the airport with driver Momi (who skillfully negotiated the terrifying Cairo traffic). Mr Mohammed the owner organised a wonderful guide, Islam, who took us on an excellent tour of the pyramids at Saqqara and Giza, as well as the Cairo museum, the country's oldest mosque, coptic church and synagogue. And of course the rooftop terrace meant we could have a very scenic breakfast next to the pyramids. (Apologies if I have misspelt any names)

United StatesI can't rave enough about Soul Pyramids View and the people who work there! Mohamed and his team went above and beyond to make my stay in Cairo a truly unforgettable one. They assisted with transfers to and from the airport, organized private tours with an Egyptologist and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the services offered. The view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking and is the best view of the pyramids in all of Cairo! It was the perfect place to eat the delicious Egyptian breakfast that was provided every morning and watch the captivating sunset over the Sahara desert. Also, to my surprise, I was upgraded upon arrival to the jacuzzi suite and was even provided a thoughtful gift of chocolate for Valentine's Day! Staying here was the best decision I made and I am so appreciative of the hospitality I received from Mohamed and his team. I will not forget my time at Soul Pyramids View and thank you for the bottom of my heart!

SwitzerlandThe hotel is brand new so some very discreet finishing touches may be needed here and there. As other portable heaters and blankets are being purchased, our main area of improvement has been taken care of already.
The luxury of waking up and eating breakfast with a superb view of the pyramids is incredible. The room is very confortable. We were a bit cold because it was winter, but the owner of the hotel and its staff were very responsive and provided us with extra blankets and a portable heater. The service provided is excellent, we even got help finding taxis or making restaurant reservations when we could not do it ourselves. This is a guesthouse but with the comfort, interior design and quality of service of higher level hotels. We highly recommend.

We stayed at Soul Pyramid as a family and we enjoyed it a lot. Everything went very smooth. Staff is very kind. Location is very good, just next to the entrance of the pyramids. The view (especially the sunset) of the pyramids from the rooftop was amazing! Rooms are like in the pictures and beds are very comfortable, we all slept very good after a long day of sightseeing. We thank to owner Yahia as he made sure that we are comfortable. He kindly checked us in earlier and helped us with everything. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay close to the pyramids.

KuwaitEverything was perfect but if you can't stand the cold make sure to pack some extra clothes if you're staying in the winter, the room was VERY cold.
Everything was perfect, from the staff to the food and the owner, the staff and the owner were helpful, and on top of that, they welcomed us with a warm smile that lasted until we left. The place is quiet and the room is so comfy. Everything we needed was provided on the spot. This place deserved the 10! We enjoyed our stay, thank you so much all and we hope to come visit you again. :)

New ZealandI am so grateful for the hospitality provided by Soul Pyramids View .They were friendly, helpful and most welcoming. Upon arrival, Mohamed showed me the rooftop where we enjoyed a coffee and watched some of the sound and light show. He gave me a background story of soul pyramid view & started planning my times for breakfast. His communication throughout my whole stay was fantastic. The room was new, clean & beautiful. I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade to the Jacuzzi room which was very spacious. The bed was so comfortable & the view of the pyramids was unbelievable. The traditional breakfast was delicious! Thank you Mohamed and your staff. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back at some stage with friends. I have stayed in many places around the world and this has to be the best place so far. I cannot fault anything- you were all amazing!

United Arab EmiratesMohammad the host was very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to guide us and ensure we had a pleasant and positive stay in Giza. The room was very clean and exactly like the pictures shared. We enjoyed a traditional Egyptian breakfast each morning and the staff were very accomodating. If you are visiting the Pyramids, I would recommend staying here, as you can watch the evening light show from the roof for free in addition to having pyramid views from your room and at breakfast.

RomaniaThe Soul Pyramids View is very close to the pyramids area, rooms have new furniture, the staff at the hotel was very helpfull, breakfast was good. The best thing is overlooking at night from the terrasse one of the most stunning sites in the world: The Pyramids of Giza. For this view only i would choose this hotel again. Also you could easly take a walk around Giza for those who want to do some shopping, there are plenty of shops with papyrus, perfumes, jewlery and only the best kunafa i have ever had.

South AfricaAs I have said above, the unpleasant odour in the room, the surroundings of the premises, I don’t like that there is cats on the rooftop as you dining climbing on top of your table. It was a bit disturbing and distasteful. The food is overwhelmingly underwhelming as well. The portions are big which can be overwhelming also their breakfast came cold every single time we had the breakfast.
The room was okay and spacious exactly as in the pictures. It was not misleading. The bed was big enough and they tried to make the room look nice, however the is an unpleasant odour I don’t personally appreciate. I can’t say the same about the rest of the property as I was disappointed. Anywho I truly was there for sleeping. They have amazing views of the pyramids at their rooftop “dining area”. Because it is winter it gets really windy and cold. But okay!

United KingdomIt is way overpriced. Breakfast was ok. It was noisy from early morning due to construction, dogs, etc so this woke us up. The two biggest issues were that the balcony lock was broken so it was hard to feel safe and the bed sheets were very rough, bobbly, old and not clean (had hair on it). I asked the sheets to be changed twice since it was making my skin itchy. The jacuzzi in the suite takes about 40 minutes to fill in, but it was nice once it filled up. The couch, chairs and carpet didn't feel clean so we didn't use it.
The hotel was decent, given the other options available in the area and generally Egyptian standards (way below average for the cost for European standard). It had the view of the pyramids which was really nice and a lovely patio to have breakfast. The staff were kind, helpful and tried to help resolve the issues below immediately. The suite room was big.

GermanyWell, the neighborhood and surroundings are very awful, the rooftop is not as it appears-it is very pale, shabby and inactive. There is no kitchen facilities on site, including the rooftop which not lively. It appears the food is ordered/prepared outside the facilities which makes the breakfast very cold and challenging to consume. The entrance at the underground is very shabby and old- the Staff have no uniforms, language barriers and everything seem very local. The Hotel should do much better, if these are improved, it will be nice.
The room is quite organized and clean, off course you have the Pyramid views.
