Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Egypt1. One thing should be taken care of in the hotel which is smoking 🚭 on the pool there was one guest of course Egyptian keep smoking and the smoke coming to us, we are not smokers and we have kids this is really made me frustrated because smokers have the right to enjoy and non smokers don't I have noticed that mostly in Egypt unfortunately no comment. 2. The breakfast was poor and was not fresh hard as well as the cucumbers.
The hotel ambiance and the hospitality especially upon check in and check out Amr excellent and of course Mr. Ali the Front office manager was helpful.

IsraelLunch was not served every day, so we needed to go to a restaurant which was ok, but had only tables outside, so it was pretty hot. Sometimes staff had difficulties with english..
The location is absolutely awesome, and together with nice staff and marvelous design of the hotel it gives a relaxed feeling after dirty and busy Cairo.

NorwayGreat option for people who want to stay in a relaxing, comfortable hotel near the pyramids. Got a room with an amazing view and spent every evening enjoying the sunset on our balcony. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the staff at the two bars were terrific. All in all highly recommended.

Australiacan be hard for Ubers / taxis to find due to the road works & building of new museum but not their fault of course just something worth noting. hotel is out of Cairo central so not much in terms of shops & places to eat or supermarkets so be prepared to just relax by the pool & eat in. I thought the prices to eat were reasonable given the quality 👍👍 Gym still under renovation but that was also mentioned in previous reviews also so I was aware would have been nice to work out but not the end of the world
Staff were attentive & happy to help Room was spacious & clean. we had a pool view that also overlooks the pyramids & although there are works being done with the construction of the new museum the view was still surreal. no issues for us with noise also given construction happens nearly 24/7 so able to get a good nights sleep. pool was great & buffet dinner & breakfast had many options to choose from for local & western guests. wifi was also on point our room was in the main hotel 2308 👍👍 ATM on-site which is also handy when needing EGP

EgyptThe parking with extra fees which could have been added on the room rate and that's it, I don't like the feeling of going to a hotel and paying parking as if it is a shopping mall. As well as they charged EGP 5 for requesting 3 plates & forks and a knife, which from my point of view is something rediculous while paying EGP 3,350 for a one night. The room bathroom had water leakage in the toilet and shower which was really annoying and frustrating, as we had to call someone to come and clean the mess up from the housekeeping. The room had two twin beds attached I was hoping its a large king bed instead.
The staff are very responsive and friendly, everything was needed was satisified, pool vibes and music infront of the Giza Pyramids view and the Grand Egyptian Museum was overwhelming.

NetherlandsLocation was repeatedly a struggle for taxi drivers to find due to ongoing construction, hotel is basically within the construction site. Staff weren’t very helpful, wrong info about Pyramid complex, much confusion when I asked when to find the room service menu. safe was out of battery in the room when we arrived. vent above the toilet fell down in the middle of the night. generally a lot of small issues for a pricey hotel. also even though it’s very near to the pyramids, it’s difficult to walk there across major road crossings
spacious room with a lovely Pyramid view, nice pool and sun lounger facilities, good breakfast

United StatesI didn’t get the same room view (panoramic view) for what I booked, as I was given a side view instead, and I had to call the manager to change the room, and the manager resolved the issue, and it was worth it!

United KingdomThe concierge service was lacking. I know in Egypt negotiation is paramount and we had fun with this but I did feel Mohammed the person organising this only had his personal interests at heart and not those of the guest.

United StatesThe hotel wasn’t very accessible for Uber so sometimes it would take several attempts to get an Uber to arrive. The internet reception and speed in the room was terrible. The only time I was able to get wifi was near the room entrance door or the bathroom and it was terribly slow.
I loved the location next to the pyramids. It was a comfortable large room. The breakfast was pretty good, the service was awesome. Hotel was in a safe location.

United KingdomThe rooms with the museum view basically just had views of a construction site, but I'm sure that will change in the near future. Also, it was slightly overpriced compared to other options.
The room was comfortable, the selection of food was excellent, and the staff were really accommodating and helpful. In particular the pool was fantastic - even though the pyramids are a little far off, you still do get a nice view of them. The WiFi was also relatively good and stable throughout the hotel (especially compare with other hotel on our Egyptian holiday).
