Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesTheir WiFi was too weak, but they gave me a "booster" that improved the reception.
Great breakfast. Fantastic view from hotel. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also provide tours and their guides are extremely knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable and safe the entire 4 days we stayed there.

United StatesDelta hotel ! The best small private owned hotel business in Giza. Location is awesome, great rooftop view and terrific breakfast( not buffet, it’s lots of food with service, another level from from European continental but not full American breakfast, there is a scramble eggs dish is hot dish). Each staff we encountered are surprisingly friendly and helpful ! We are firm the states, and we are happy with the customer service experience in Delta hotel. The room is so new and everything is clean ! Beautiful bathroom. We also stayed at different places in Cairo, this is by far the most stay during our visit. Mario, front desk, very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast server extremely attentive. Hisham, the co partner of the company, gives great deal On tours and no price gauging, no pushing, smooth relaxing experience with him. If you want a safe clean place. Look no further ! Delta hotel is the gem in Giza.

United StatesThis might be the first bad review I have left & we should have reached out to the manager after our 2nd, 3rd, 4th negative experience. We had heard such great reports from our colleges from around the world. The room was nice & comfortable. The View was beautiful from the rooftop. Breakfast, although the same each day, was good. Our booking stated our booking included a shuttled from the airport to the hotel.. We provided the flight number & expected arrival time. The hotel said to contact them for the charge, once We sent a screen shot, they agreed to puck us up in an hour. We texted back stating we would get an uber, if they would take us on our departure xwhich turned out difficult in Cairo since they do not honor the Uber agreed price & demand cash 5x more than ubar quoted amount. When we arrived at 11:30 pm, we were given a different room with only 2 beds. Since we settled in, we arrived to stay in that room for the remaining 4 nights. My biggest concern was our room was not cleaned the whole 5 nights. Thus was the shocker.

MalaysiaWhen booking, we selected the free airport transfer service and had contacted the hotel in advance to provide our arrival time. However, upon arrival, no one was there to pick us up. After contacting the hotel, they responded that they would immediately arrange for a driver. When the driver arrived, he said the car couldn’t fit all five of us. We had booked one double room and one triple room, so the hotel clearly knew there were five of us, yet they only sent a car that could accommodate three people. The driver then asked us to speak with the hotel manager, Mario, whose attitude was incredibly rude. He demanded an additional payment of $12 to arrange another vehicle. He was very aggressive, saying that if we didn’t agree to the charge, he would cancel our hotel booking. To avoid disrupting our schedule, we had no choice but to comply. Since we were only staying for one night, we decided not to dwell on the outdated hotel facilities, such as broken faucets and general disrepair. However, what happened during breakfast the next morning was even more infuriating. We had chosen the free breakfast option during booking. After the breakfast was served, the staff asked whether we wanted coffee or tea, and we each placed our orders. After the meal, Mario showed up again and claimed the drinks were not included in the free breakfast and needed to be paid for. While we didn’t mind paying, the staff should have informed us beforehand. Mario then backtracked, saying he wouldn’t charge us for the drinks but insisted we leave a tip instead. It was clear they were trying to find every possible way to extract money from us. We are generally happy to tip after receiving good service, but this kind of deceitful behavior is extremely off-putting.
The hotel's view is truly amazing, offering a clear sight of the pyramids. The breakfast was also quite decent. However, we were dissatisfied with most of the other services provided by the hotel.

South AfricaThe Location was very dodgy and their breakfast was very disgusting, only bread which was already stale and a slice of tomato that was prepared for us . They should not mention breakfast on their site because they obviously cannot provide
The inside of the hotel and the room were decent and nice but the location was very scary

GreeceAs soon as we entered the room, the sheets were stained with dirt and the room wasn’t clean overall. The balcony door in the room they gave us didn't lock, and they informed us that they would fix it the next day, but not only did they not fix it, but on the second day we were there, the whole room flooded from the rain as the balcony doors were in very bad condition, causing all our things to get wet. When we informed them about the situation, they attempted to move us to a smaller double room, even though we had paid for a triple room. Since the double room was also flooded and there was no way we would agree to stay there, they gave us their large room with the jacuzzi, which was comfortable. However, the jacuzzi was quite dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The hotel staff tried to sell us tours, which were not convenient, and on the second day, they refused to exchange us money although I had requested a exchange on the first day, leaving us without any egyptian money despite counting on them. We had been informed by the manager that we could exchange money there. The breakfast was very poor, nothing special.
It had a view of the pyramids from the terrace, and the rooms were relatively comfortable and renovated. On the last day, since we were leaving very early in the morning, they prepared a breakfast package for us.

GermanyCons: The location was in an alley way. The bottom of the hotel looked abandoned. The hotel is on the 6th and 7th floor only. The food was a little iffy for the chicken skewers. The appetizers said it came with dipping sauce. Ordered three different ones and no sauce except for choice of ketchup, mayo, or mustard. There is and extra service and tax at the end (around 30%). Visa and Mastercard is 2% additional charge and AmEx is 5%. So set aside cash for payment.
Pros: The view from dining area was great. The fruit drink was delicious. The people were friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The AC was great and kept us cool.

United StatesThe staff did not inform us until the very final morning that we could order eggs for breakfast. Also, Pyramid view can fluctuate on your room. Our friends view was better than ours. But, I could still see it.
The view from the terrace of the property is very pleasant and evening restaurant staff are super friendly.

United StatesMy room was not clean. My shower had hair from past guest(which is a huge pet peeve for me) and items from past guests left behind. The water does not drain fast enough while in the shower and because there are no shower doors. If you don't take a very quick shower it will over flow. I didn't have a knob to turn on the water in my bathroom sink, I asked for it to be fixed and even the desk agent went with me so I can show him but nothing was done. The closest were very dusty. My friends didn't always have hot water in their rooms. We ordered food the first night there at their restaurant it took over an hour to get our food when we were the only ones ordering food. I felt horrible because my friends in trusted me to select the hotel where we stayed and I failed them. I think the hotel has potential but I can't say I would stay here again especially for the amount our rooms cost.
The room has good space, with good light and comfortable beds. The view from the roof top restaurant was insanely beautiful. The staff was very nice.

United KingdomThe hotel is located in one floor, not the whole building. It does not feel like a hotel. Poor Facility, broken toilet, the water of shower and tapping water does not go down, the drain is blocked up. The bed sheet is very old and worn out. The restaurant is empty with no guest, and it doesn't seem to be cleaned, the staff are lying on the sofa like that, so we did not have breakfast there even though it is included. Moreover, the AC made me sick, it is blowing right to your face, i have had a sever cold. Generally, i cannot recommend anyone to stay in a hotel in that area, it is not safe and uncleaned. And this hotel is not a 3 star hotel in my opinion. The picture they posted here is unreal.

United StatesFirst, this is not a hotel .it's on top of a building on the 6th floor . There are no amenities there . It's located on a busy street in cairo, and all noises can be heard inside the room at all times . In our time there, the elevator didn't work for 2 days, making it hard to leave and check out . Breakfast was ok but definitely not the greatest location or place to stay, especially if you are a light sleeper . Please avoid at all costs, spend some more money, and stay at the Intercontinental or Hilton.. They are in a better location, and it's an actual Hotel

GreeceThe room was very noisy, even though it wasn’t facing the Main Street, the food in the restaurant is delivery from outside and was always late and in one situation was not what we ordered.
The staff was very polite and very helpful on every request. The tour guide and the driver they offered, were the best we could ask for.
