The kitchen could be a little better equipped and the pillow on the bed much improved.

Cheap accommodation in a great location. It's quite basic. Though I have been here twice and it's great value for money in a perfect location for getting out walking.

It felt like facilities needed renovation. Almost everything had wear and tear. For example door of one toilet was hard to lock and unlock. Another toilet barely worked at all. Vilaflor itself is very small and not much to see or do there.

It was relatively inexpensive. Also It was easy to get to the room. It was quiet and peaceful place. I found hiking trail nearby and loved to do hiking. Beautiful rooftop views.

There's some wrong information in Booking, they don't accept credit card, only cash. The room was very cold, no radiator or heater fan so the room was like fridge.

Alma is very nice place to stay: nice room with a good bed, fast internet, clean, the kitchen has everything necessary. The terrace is amazing, what a view.

The setup is a shared bathroom and kitchen in a shared flat with other people. As a female solo traveler, I would not recommend because you do not know who you will be sharing the space with until you arrive. The hotel is antique. The doors creak a lot and I kept getting stuck in the bathroom. Also, getting to Vilaflor is difficult. I would recommend either driving your own car or taking an airport transfer. I used Suntransfers.

Vilaflor is located in the mountains and has easy access to several hikes. Budget friendly.

Hot water was hit and miss. That is unacceptable in a guesthouse at 1400m with no heating. Room had no wardrobe, no hangers, no towel rail, no hooks, no writing desk, basically nothing useful at all except the bed. But it did have two beautifully-framed paintings, which were quite handy for hanging laundry.

The only budget option in the village. Spotlessly clean.

There is no heating in the hotel, so it's very cold in winter. Some rooms get the sun on the windows in the day; some don't (ours!). We resorted to filling our water bottles with hot water from the kettle and spending most of our time under the duvet with them.

Basic but good hotel in the centre of Vilaflor - very well located for walks and access to El Teide. Nice roof with a good view, Shared bathroom and kitchen always clean; the cleaners called daily and were friendly and helpful. Superbly comfortable beds and excellent value for money.

It was very cold when I arrived 3oC daytime and 1oC night and no heating. I was not prepared for this which is why I gave only 8 but if weather good it would be better. It's not the accommodation fault but thought worth knowing

The room was basic but had a comfortable bed a single socket and hangers for your clothes. It was a quiet location so good nights sleep and a supermarket next door for your essential shopping. Good place for access to mountain walks. The kitchen had plenty of storage for food and twin hotplate for cooking

VERY cold inside and no heating system whatsoever. No shower gel or shampoo in the shower (didn’t want to use it anyway since it was freezing inside). No response when sending messages to the ones responsible. The front door is supposed to be able to be opened with a code but it didn’t work.

I was upgraded to the apartment instead of the room. The apartment was excellent - I was staying for one night but this could be a holiday home for a week! Truly nice experience, especially after a long day of hiking. The logistics were extremely simple and the apartment was located right on the GR 131 hiking trail. There are also many other local hiking trails in the surrounding area and Vilaflor town itself seems lovely as well.

Oven didn't work when I was there, wish i knew in advance as i got a pizza but I should of tested everything when I got in so it's my fault.

Great location especially if you got a car, 50 minutes if that to Teide and 50 minutes to the beach. It's got everything you need especially for the price. Went at Christmas so bit cold at night other than that, great hiking 30 seconds down the road and 800 tree to see, it's massive only 10 minutes walk to see it.
