Slight smell coming from wash hand basin drain. We did mention it to reception staff and it did improve slightly, but remained noticeable for the rest of our stay. However, this did not detract from the overall experience. The shower could have been slightly cleaner. Some mould showing round the base which we also found slippy when wet. Care was needed when using the shower. I understand that showers can be slippy, but a warning sign or non slip surface would help. Again this did not spoil our stay and is only mentioned for the benefit of future guests. Some building work was taking place during our stay, but I understand this needs to be done at some time and again did not affect our enjoyment.

The distance from Palma was easily overcome by the regular cheap bus service. Bus stop was 20 metres away and return stop was right across the road. The choice for breakfast was very good and varied. The cava was a great accompaniment. The Spa was clean, well equipped and well positioned.

This is a lovely place to stay. The free use of the spa facilities was a real bonus. The room was basic - would have liked tea/ coffee making facilities. There was a lot of building work going on somewhere in the building so a lot of noise from 8am every morning. I would like to have been warned about that.

The wellness center had both the jacuzzi and hamam broken and we were not informed in advance nor offered compensation. Thankfully we had booked a suite with private jacuzzi but they’re located in a way that from the jacuzzi you can see your neighbors in their own tub… so not very private. Also as we were off season, they were ongoing construction in the building, drills and hammers all day long, also without prior notice. When we complained at the reception, no compensation was offered, when we reached out the property afterwards to complain, we never got any response. It’s a shame because the staff was very friendly and the property was a good deal for the money we paid, but the experience left us with a bitter aftertaste.

Everything was amazing. The breakfast options were so many even though I am not a breakfast person. But there are great chooice of fruits which is what I love to eat in the morning. Coffee was not my fave but I know this is not specialised coffee shop so the fact that everything else is amazing I would not be picky. Room was clean, bed very comfy and I had everything I needed for my short stay. Unfortunately I did not have time to use the spa but I check it and it looked fab so I would definitely come back for longer and had the chance to use it. The staff were also very nice and kind.

Modern decor and well appointed. Fantastic meals on half board and excellent quality food with lots of choice. Authentic Spanish food which was good. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Great pool area with fabulous views.

The reception provided incorrect information at check-in resulting in our inability to book a spa message for remainder of our 5 night visit. The same staff said they would let us know when we could check in earlier than 3pm however this never happened although at least a dozen other guests were able to. After being in our room for a very short time we realised it was not to our liking so we asked for different room which was a "downgrade" when I inquired if they would credit me the difference the front reception never got back to me and subsequently was left unresolved-unprofessional. At the end of day we felt more like transactional customers than guests ( we are very frequent travellers and the week before had experience a very high quality guest service at a different hotel in Switzerland - not the case for this Barcelo hotel ).

Breakfast offered plenty of fresh and local choices. Definitely recommend having breakfast here.

Unfortunately this visit was a little disappointing. The water for the guests at the front door had mould and flies. There were two ladies working in the breakfast area that were rude and made us feel unwanted. There used to be a welcome biscuit in the room and a bottle of water but that’s been stopped. Coffee pods were not replaced in the room. We went to the spa area and the sauna and steam room were not on, the hot tub and pool were cold.

This was our fourth time staying in the hotel and we like the position and layout.

this location does not offer good access to attractions, well.. you need your car to get to the mountains, or Palma, which is fine, but if you are looking for attractions nearby just by walking, this is probably not the best place. OTHER THAN THAT ALL WAS PERFECT.

The room disposition is a bit weird, with the "bathroom" sink being in the room itself.

Of course - the most amazing part of this hotel is the pool, with sea-side views... It's simply amazing to be enjoying the pool and the great view, and also have quick access to the sea for a swim. Ordering food and drinks is easy through a mobile app, and your orders are being brought directly to your sunbed.

Unfortunately we were on 5th floor and 6th floor was used for conferences. One night after a conference staff decided to move chairs and tables past midnight which woke us up. We complained to receptionist but noise continued till 12.45. The following day the manager apologised and a bottle of wine was sent to our room as an apology. Should I return to this hotel I would ask for 3rd or 4th floor

Air conditioning in the room was borderline, could not lower the temperature on the warmer nights. Evening buffet meals got repetitive after several days, needed more culinary varieties. The spa had issues with the steam room and the water jets not working which took a few days to fix.

Loved the hotel and the location suited us. We stayed in a Junior Suite (room 405) which was fabulous, comfy bed and pillows, great shower. The sea view was limited compared with our friends Superior Sea View Room (room 501) which was stunning! (see photo). Housekeeping left the room immaculate every day, hotel staff were lovely (especially Elias).

There was no storage for luggage in our superior room, and we had to keep asking for milk and coffee as this was not topped up on a daily basis, irritating for my partner who likes at least 2 cups of coffee before breakfast!!!

Amazing location, fantastic hotel, very comfortable bed and pillows, delicious food & very helpful staff. I experienced the best ever full body massage from Julie in the spa. We will definitely return.

Reserving of sun beds, although stated as forbidden in the literature received, still occurs without discouragement. Not the hotels fault, just selfish people.

Stayed in 'Superior Double Room with Sea View'. Hotel is perfect for a quiet adult only break. Room was clean, tastefully decorated and easily large enough for our purpose. Air-Con worked well, as did the Wi-Fi signal. Shower is a large walk-in closet with Rain Shower and the water was always hot. Toilet is a separate closet with frosted glass sliding door. Sink unit is within the room but separated from the bed area by a mirrored partition. View from the balcony took in the swimming pool area and over the Bay of Palma and was nicely framed by the Pine trees around the edge of the hotel. Around the pool, there were always sufficient sun beds and umbrellas. Pool towels are provided via a ticketing system provided by the ever present life guard. Buffet breakfasts and dinners were very good. Outside the hotel there are a few small shops for food, souvenirs etc and the odd bar, but it should be noted that the area is much quieter than many others in Majorca.
