Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SloveniaThe location is perfect, hotel is clean, room had sea view and it was clean and big. There is not a thing missing for breakfast and dinner - you even get free drink for dinner! And the stuff is really nice and helpful. I really don't understand their rating on Booking - they should be rated 10!

United Kingdomthe food was not good, despite booking all inclusive the quality was the worst I ever seen at an Occidental resort we actually paid to eat out! the pool was in the shade for 80% of the day which was disappointing and the entertainment in the evening shocking
a quiet setting, close to a small but clean beach

United KingdomOne minor point was that there was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room. I am an early riser so would have liked to make a drink in the room. Also the courtesy room we used before leaving the hotel was not clean. However, this was not the fault of the hotel is was the guests that used it before us that left it in a state.
Sea view room was perfect. Food choices were very good - I am vegetarian and there was lots of choice for me. All inclusive drinks were premium brands. The hotel is located next to a lovely cove where the sea was beautifully clean. There's nothing around the hotel but you don't need it because the entertainment package is jam packed.

Czech RepublicThe improvement points are certainly related to the room which is rather under-maintained. Although Booking advertises the room as having 1 double bed, it is unfortunately not the accurate depiction: these are in fact two twin beds put together each having a separate linen bedsheet set hence not anyhow connected. Up until the last day, we could not fix the locker (safety box) in our room and reported so a few times yet did not hear back from the hotel. Another minor detail was the towel handle not properly mounted into the sink stand so it fell down a couple of times when I tried to take the towel from it - learned how to work around that after those unlucky attempts but that was unexpected from such level of the hotel chain. On our first day, the sliding door got out of the rail and so could not slide, however, the hotel handyman quickly helped us resolve that right away. The cleaning staff was indeed reliable (considering our situation with the locker) although there were 2 days when the room was not cleaned, and we did not have our bedsheet sets changed within 6 days (in a hot location where the hygiene is taken with some extra degree of care). All in all, I am strongly encouraging the hotel management to invest more attention into these points.
First impression is strongly positive: the look of the foie, the check-in process (we arrived by the end of the dinner time slot and were advised to get some food before the closure time while the reception team checked us in) and overall the nature surrounding this place is quite distinctive. During our stay, we did enjoy the half-board and the animation program (shout out to the animation team), especially their evening events.

United KingdomMY ROOM! I made a mistake booking a superior room. I thought SUPERIOR meant just that. I asked for high up, sea view and quiet. I got see view. My room was above the dining room/terrace which meant being awake from 7.30. It was also next to the Show theatre which meant that it was VERY noisy from 8.30 to 11pm. Not a nice experience! I think they did it on purpose!! Also when I paid with a credit card I was advised to pay in euros. It cost me £14.50 in fee. Rooms 2201-2207 are to be avoided at all cost!
Superb hotel and location. It was my 3rd time there. Rooms are lovely and beds are very comfortable. Rooms were clean and towels were changed daily. The dining room has been upgraded and I think the head chef has changed. Unfortunately I am vegetarian and there was not much choice ie salads and vegs. There was fish but no idea what kind. Plenty to eat for anybody else. 4 days there was enough!

United KingdomSome special guests were so happy that we could hear their laughs and happy conversations until 1 am. They were happy- but I would like to have some privacy at that time. However, we had earplugs so it was ok You have to pay for The beds near the sea. But nobody pays so the sandy path near the sea is occupied by the empty beds. And the rest of the sandy space (small path) is full of people. We paid for the sea side so really the land (and the sand) should be available for people I'd love to see my room service ladies on the beach and at the dining room with us. Such a lovely place should be for everyone who is here
Food! I tried everything..well, I wasn't able to eat all what I want! It was amazing, the cook and all the kitchen staff are the true professionals. They make you feel welcome and they remember what you like. The food would please anyone. Meat, fish, vegetables, all sorts of salads, paella, fruits, anything you could imagine. I never thought my wife could eat so much.. and she tried all cakes and dishes.. and almost cried when we had to come back home. The room- it was so big! and windows! you could see the sea while in bed! and feeling of freedom and the sky. The sea was just 2 min away. We swam 5 hours every day, and the water was so warm and you could see through it. Shower as you expect it to be in a posh hotel. Room service was amazing, very professional and always smiling. It is the best place for us- sea, hot weather ( we adapted in 2 days), food, service, and the forest near the hotel. The local shop just 5 min away- food, drinks, necessities- and very friendly dog. The entertainment was so good, that we almost jumped in ( we are introverts). It added to our stay energy and made us feel included. The showmen are amazing- everyone had chance to join (and they did!). Safe, secure, clean and accessible place. No intruders, no drunk people, no incidents- staff prevented any possible issues. Safe place 24/7. I could wright an essay- I would tell I loved it from the first sight and miss it terribly

United KingdomOn arrival, I was told the hotel was over-booked and I was being relocated to another nearby hotel ! I was told it was more superior ! it absolutely wasn’t ! it was awful so I asked to return ! As a solo female traveller - I did not feel safe there. It was tired, low budget and did not have the facilities of Cala Vinas. This wasted an afternoon of my very short trip. if you are asked to relocate - say NO !
This hotel was amazing !

Sweden1. The service at the reception is extremely slow when we wanted to both check-in & check-out. It takes around 15 minutes to check-in and get your room, which is really stupid when you are standing in the lobby and sweating because of the heat. It isn't the staff's fault, but rather the management of the hotel which has made the checking in & checking out of the hotel take so long, and don't get me started on if there is a queue of people in front of you. What's the point of doing an online check-in a couple of days prior to arriving if it still takes so long to get or leave the room keys. 2. The AC in the room is the only thing that keeps you breathing in this kind of warmth, which is why I don't understand why there are no other AC's anywhere in the hotel. From the moment you have taken a shower to taking your first bite of the food in the restaurant, you are covered in sweat. 3. The food gets repetitive after a while, but if you are staying for a shorter visit, say for instance 4 days, it's alright. 4. Although the hotel overall was great, it's too expensive for what you are paying, so just a heads up!
1. The rooms were cleaned each day, making the stay here feel rather fresh. 2. The hotel is located only 2 minutes away from the beach. 3. The drinks included in the all inclusive, but also the snack bar near the pool, were really nice benefits to have. 4. Funny activities with different prizes were arranged each day close to the pool area. 5. The view from the sea view room was amazing, and the views from around the beach were stunning.

United KingdomRooms were poorly soundproofed so you could hear anyone that passed by the rooms and evening entertainment could be heard clearly until past 11. All three pools were chaotic so we paid to sit on sunbeds on the beech everyday instead of staying in the hotel. The ramp down from the movie screening area to the staircase / restaurant area was incredibly slippery when dry; my partner and I both nearly fell over at the same time. The indoor dining area felt like being in an early 2000’s McDonald’s full of screaming children.
The beech was easy to access
