Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe parking space that belongs to the hotel is very difficult to get to. It's basically on the roof of the first floor but obviously the Gps gets very confused. Even the staff, after asking, said "es un lio" it's complicated. The fact that the public parking next the hotel bears the same name, doesn't help. I had to drive over taxi lanes, to get to it, eventually. The price is steep, 30€ per day, for an uncovered parking is too much, especially seeing the fact it isn't down town Barcelona.
Clean room, very comfortable beds

South AfricaThis hotel is overrated, they focused on the theme and forgot about guest pleasure. The service was not great, 3days later I'm still waiting for a blanket and coffee, room service never came. The rooms are too SMALL and the general floor level was too dark, lifts are tiny. reception staff not friendly, they kept speaking in Spanish when I requested English for understanding
Breakfast is great, the variety and taste is awesome. Access to public transport is easy from the establishment, be it road, bus or train.

United StatesFirst I had made a reservation for 2 nights but ended up coming to Barcelona the day before and made 1 more reservation. I don't know what happened if it was the hotel's system or lack of communication between the employees but we had some situations that bothered me. The charge for breakfast was made at check in but they did not charge the daily rates. that's ok because several hotels charge us at check out but when we went to have breakfast and the employee came to tell us that we were not included in the breakfast payment list despite it being the first thing we were charged. We left for our tour and when we got back to the hotel our room key was blocked. Again the lack of communication because the employee informed us that we could stay in the room without changing rooms and on the second day the same thing happened: when we returned the key was blocked, and this upset me a lot. In the room, the cleaning service forgot to put new towels for us. The experience could be better if communication was more effective at the hotel.
The hotel is well located above Sants station, which is why we chose to stay at this hotel. The facilities are good and the staff is very polite.

MalaysiaI checked in after a 2 hour flight from Dublin on 30/6 but was greeted by a rude staff member who was not wearing a name tag( female) . She asked me for a deposit of 50 euros and I explained to her that I was only carrying pounds suggesting to her to hold my bags or allow me to check my bags in as it would be difficult for me to lug bags around while finding a money exchange. She refused until I asked for a manager who helpfully accommodated my request. Additionally, she was very condescending saying things like “this is Europe, we only use euros not unknown currency “ -since when is the British pound an “unknown currency” she also referred to me as a “customer that didn’t have money trying to check in” . More importantly, when I asked her to point me to a money exchange, she sent me behind the building where there was nothing to be seen. Thankfully, another angel of your staff mr Adria (male not sure if I remember his name correctly but he has long hair in a ponytail) was so helpful, directing me appropriately and treating me with kindness and respect. He was so warm and well spoken(all smiles) smiles) beyond the customer service I’ve even experienced at the ritz/rosemary/Marriott etc. really appreciate him. However, the vile female staff member who did not identify herself or wear any sort of name tag ruined my impression of this otherwise fantastic hotel.
Everything was perfect except one member of staff who was extremely rude and condescending.

United StatesLine of people to check in. Hotel and rooms have space/NASA theme that is cold/not inviting and does not celebrate Barcelona or what is special about the city.

NorwaySuch a big hotel and I paid alot for one night, and I paid a lot for breakfast but still there was not enough warm vegetarian dishes. The sofa nearby windows in dining area kept moving around when someone sat on it. Someone who sat behind me kept moving so it was quite difficult to enjoy the breakfast. Not one single garbage bag in the room. Not even a welcome drink which is quite normal in countrys like Malaysia, Singapore and Colombia. Also in England, France and Italy. Nothing complementary other than water. I get a lot more on other hotels where I pay less. The lights and WiFi was suddenly shut down and took a while before it came back on but no information. I was in a zoom meeting at the moment it happened. That is not fine. I paid my bill when I checked in, cause I find it easy to pay all the amount in advance and when I was going to check out I was just supposed to return room key and was asked to stand in a long line where people were waiting to check in. I usually book room on other hotels but thought you were best cause of the location but now I rather travel to get a good experience. I travel a lot to Spain. Sometime for 2-3 days and sometimes only for 1 night. I expected more from a big hotel like yours. My mistake.
Location perfect. Easy to find the hotel. The hotel is clean and nice. Big hotel. Alot of places where you can attend phone meetings.

Belgium1) Bar service is non existent. I went to have diner late, but after I asked the menu, all the staffs were chatting inside the kitchen. No one was coming for my order, so I just ate chips I bought in a shop. 2) Reception lady had issues with me because my card showed a different number ( just happened after changing my amex card) despite I showed her how they already deducted the money from my account. Very unpleasant experience..and no apologies. They enter your room without knocking or anything, check your belongings while you aren’t there. 3) After the cleaning lady cleaned the room, I went in to rest but after 30min, a lady with glasses suddenly entered my room while I was on the bed. I asked later to the reception, what it was about and it seemed it was the cleaning manager. 4) Then came to the conclusion she must have been the one who tried to open my rimowa suitcase on the first day. I put all my belongings inside my suitcase and randomly shuffled them before leaving. When I came back, my left lock was put at 000 (standard rimowa suitcase code to open it) Hotel is comfortable but not sure about the whole experience..
Very clean and comfortable, ideally located.

FranceIt would be a great idea for an hotel this size to have a "courtesy room", where you can refresh in case you arrive prior to the official check in time. They need to keep in mind that some travelers spend 20 to 24 hours to reach their place if they are coming from overseas.

United Kingdommain entrance from tiny claustrophobic lift , inside stair option unlit ( would it light if there was a fire?) you can access the hotel by stairs walking up 3 flights of stairs ( un labelled) on out side of building away from main entrance. very odd ‘space theme’ to access the lowest floor of bedrooms without lift another 3 flights ( so to go without using lift from station level to bedroom 6 flights in total all unlabelled ). -,staff were helpful but if you not keen on lifts AVOID !

United Kingdomthe second visit I queued at reception for about an hour to check in. From 2-3pm!!The reception staff took far too long to deal with things. on departure when I went to collect stored luggage there was no one available to open the store and no way to call them. This is not really acceptable when catching a train. why so slow? Buffet breakfast fine but I had to leave at 7.15 am the first visit and the buffet wasn't open until 7.30 am which is late. I was provided with a picnic breakfast which was terrible. dry sandwiches and a packaged cake!! 15 euros!! there are only two lifts to the station. I assume proximity to station is main reason people stay here
the room is very comfortable but second stay was far more expensive I appreciated the chocolates and water the bed was very comfortable and the room clean although the flooring between bathroom and sink area was broken

MexicoExtremely poor value for money. Noisy rooms - you could hear people walking in the room above loudly - enough to wake me up. The toilet offered no privacy in the room. The breakfast room was like a large Works cafeteria and noisy. The elevators were nothing short of disastrous with only 4 for the whole hotel and 1-2 of them never working. The lines fir the lifts were long. I do not recommend this hotel at all and will never return.
