I bought the included dinners in the pack and the drinks were not included, not even the water. Also the food at dinner was not as awesome as for breakfast.

Rooms are really big and clean. Even if the weather is a bit chili for my liking the pool had climate control and was warm enough to be really confortable. Then the breakfast was really good, it had a great variety of meats, eggs, pastries, churros, waffles, pancakes, breads, fruits juices, yogurts and even options for lactose intolerants.

Dinner to have more selection. As the hotel is very big it’s slightly hard to man over with a buggy if you have small children you may have to go on to the other side to use the slopes if you don’t want to fold your buggy to use the stairs. Luckily my lil one liked getting out at times so we did fold or lift the buggy down the stairs.

Breakfast always had a huge variety of breakfast meals. Staff was always welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony. I didn’t get to use all of the pools or use the lagoon but it was nice that there was so many as the pools were never crowded or too busy!

Bathroom

A very pleasant hotel. Great pool area, not crowded at all even though the hotel was fully booked. Very large selection of food at the buffet. Delicious breakfasts, freshly made cocktails and juices were something special. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, could use a refresh, but when it comes to cleanliness there is nothing to complain about. I recommend this hotel if you want to relax and just enjoy what the hotel has to offer.

I wished there was more Flamenco nights! and more variety of non-alcoholic drinks

This is my second time at Barcelo Tenerife and I am looking forward for my third! The staff are exceptional, very professional, friendly and helpful. Loredana in the Plaza bar was extremely helpful and friendly through out or stay. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The adult activities and entertainment are very good and I liked very much the addition of sunset DJ. Also, Maria from the entertainment team (Sup Yoga and Hydro running ) was exceptional. Victor as well from the entertainment team. The food was very varied and every night a different theme! I enjoyed the Asian night very much and the breakfast was fantastic! I enjoyed it very much that I have asked them if I can buy some of the honey they were offering and they make it happen. Great customer service.

The only thing we didn't like was that, at dinner, only water in glass bottles was available and these were 3.50 euros, (This was more expensive than a glass of wine!) We would have liked carafes of cold water readily available at dinner as it is at breakfast and lunch.

The breakfast section was great, plenty of choice of lovely fresh fruit, selection of freshly made fruit juices and smoothies, pastries, different breads as well as cooked ..eggs, bacon, tomatoes and other interesting vegetable choices. So much choice, there was something for every palate and dietary need! All beautifully presented and fresh! Dinner was great too, again plenty of choice and each evening had a theme where different foods were offered, on top of a range of vegetables, salads, cold and cooked meats and fish, plus a wide selection of desserts, more fresh fruits and a selection of cheese on top! I would defy anyone not to find everything they want for an amazing dinner! The room was perfect, pillow choice, fridge and all the essentials you expect in a good hotel! Staff were attentive, always there if you needed something and we felt that they enjoyed their work and their enthusiasm clearly reflected this! We found some staff who seemed to go above and beyond , we all loved Victor but there were also others, whose names we didn't get!

Nothing could be improved

It was absolutely stunning from start to finish! We had our honeymoon here and my birthday and it’s worth every penny! Super luxurious and the food is amazing! All the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us! Special shout out to the animation team who were fabulous! Stunning location right next to the sea! Staff were not flexible and sometimes didn’t really want to help. Example: one staff member told us we had to book late check out on the morning of check out, went back 30mins later to another staff member and was able to book late check out no problem. On another occasion we tried to get breakfast delivered to the room early but they could not offer this which was disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Because of the all inclusive side we couldn’t get an ice cream near the bottom pool despite offering to pay and we’re told we had to walk up to the other bar

Communication on dining in their other restaurants was not clear. We were told dining is in our all inclusive plan which wasn't when we reached the restaurant at our booked time.

Planes flying overhead but didn’t bother us.

The architecture seemed to blend effortlessly into the surroundings with its clay coloured stone. The buffet food was amazing. We upgraded to all inclusive and it was well worth it. The pools were lovely, one of which was heated. Easy access to a wooden beachfront walk. Tennis court on site.

Not much really... we didn't have our coffee and bottled water replaced in our room during our stay and on one day we didn't have used mugs replaced with clean ones ... that is the only gripe...

Lovely spacious hotel. Excellent food options (we went half board), superb cocktails. The rooms were large and very comfortable with a fantastic bathroom and patio. Very close to the airport so great for a short break and quick airport commute, but be prepared for regular planes flying over! There is a lovely coastal path right on the doorstep which we highly recommend.
