Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHasn’t bothered me at all but for some it might be a little far out from the centre! But it is very close to the metro and trams if so :)
I’ve stayed here twice now and it’s been refurbished since the first time, I didn’t think it could get much better but the beds are so big and comfortable and the bar on the ground floor is lovely for a drink at any time of day! Facilities in the room are perfect - a lovely shower and a mini fridge with water and fizzy drinks in there for free! Room service breakfast was also lovely.

United Arab EmiratesWe had an issue with the booking, through booking.com (not the hotel's fault). There aren't tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which are standard in hotels of the same level. So we were told to get hot water for free at the ground floor café/bar by the receptionist, however when we asked for it the barmaid let us know we should pay 30 cents for each small paper cup. Not really a money issue as it is a hospitality issue. Very long waits for the lifts both from the ground floor and the top floor.
