Location great - 50 meters from big mall. Breakfast was great , room after renovation.

Some of the food we got in room service was not great. And the shower wasn't isolated properly, one of the glass walls seemed to be loose. So it leaked a bit out onto the floor. But the shower itself was very nice and I loved the soap so much that I took a photo of it so I could buy it. I also didn't like that when I asked to extend my visit, I was told it was "hotel policy" that I would need to stay in the same room. We did want to see if we'd get a better room. But I decided not to press on it. The wifi could have been better sometimes and would have liked to see some English speaking tv channels in my room besides the BBC. However, I did discover the Spanish Gordon Ramsay, Alberto, so I can't complain.

I loved the look of it all, very modern and it felt very comfortable. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the views. Very close to everything we needed. Very short distance to the beach. A must to rent a bike and next to the beaches of Barcelona. Couldn't recommend that enough. Pool area was very nice. Plenty of restaurants to choose from just outside next to the hotel and also a mall. Hard to beat this location.

The check in at 3pm is kinda late, and to check in early or do late check out is not an option with the staff there. Also there were no kettle in the room, so make your own coffee or tea was no option

The location is perfect, close to bus station and metro. Also surrounded by supermarket if you want to buy something. Also close to nice beach that you can freely enjoy it. The bar there is also nice but it's only till 1am.

Only 4 sun loungers at the pool, gets very busy so the majority of people are sitting on the floor. No balcony in the rooms.

Convenient location next to the tube station which makes it easy to get around the city. Also next to a shopping centre and close to the beach. Good breakfast. Clean room with free soft drinks in fridge.

we didn’t like the furniture that is really old and the water in the pool wasn’t clean. so we didn’t even went in. and it is far away from all the sight seeing locations. the bathroom js really improvised and not good for people that aren’t family.

we liked that it was clean and the staff was really nice and helpful.

No kettle or tea/coffee in the room, nor an iron, despite plugs with labels that suggest there should be. I wasn’t allowed to take my wine glass from the bar up to my room when I wanted to retire to my room. There was a leak in my bathroom from upstairs. There was a lack of information in the room about check in/out and other facilities like timings of gym/pool and what bars were available and served food. There was a lack of communication before the stay about how to get to the hotel - one of the metro/tram lines were out which I didn’t know before I arrived and had planned my travel around this. My room was noisy - I could hear the swimming pool generator all night and there were rowdy groups on my floor - one man tried to get into my room at 1am which put me on edge!! The hotel didn’t have the quality I was expecting from the reviews and star rating, but it did the job while travelling to attend a conference in the essentially next door CCIB.

Staff were friendly in the bar and pool area and sorted problems very quickly - I was travelling alone and they cleared my drink while I visited the bathroom, but a new one was provided with complimentary peanuts, which was nice! The pool area is nice on the lower floor, but small and shallow - food is pricey. Room service was easy and very fast. The hotel stored my luggage and collection was easy. Check out time was good. Shampoo and body wash smelled lovely in the room. Safe worked well.

The only downside I can think of was that there were too few elevators so you sometimes had to wait a very long time to get upstairs or downstairs.

Lifts were too slow. long waits common to reach upper floors. Noise from nearby music venue was unbearable. on our last night the band finished at 5am! The whole entrance area is in urgent need of a revamp. The exterior is a mess and the seats in reception are uncomfortable. I've already commented on the less than welcoming adjacent bar.

Our room was a little tired but generally well appointed and comfortable. Nice view of the sea from 21st floor but between hotel and sea all you can really see is concrete. The best part of the hotel is the pool/bar on the refurbished 3rd floor. a really great place to relax. staff there were great.Unfortunately this couldn't be said of the barman on ground floor who showed little interest in making customers feel special. The staff on reception were excellent and very welcoming.

The staff was very welcoming, The location is great, the mall is just the next building, 2 mini markets and a pharmacy very close, and the taxi station just behind the hotel. The rooms are nice and good.
