We found the room very cool at night but as it was March, I imagine this would be an advantage in Summer! It didn't really bother us but be aware that the hostel is quite high up in town so if you arrive on a bus, expect to climb several very steep slopes!

Very pleasant hostel and a good place to stay on a budget. We had a private room and shared bathroom which were very clean and tidy. Check in was good, as was the wi-fi, kitchen facilities and lovely terrace on top of the building where a simple continental style breakfast was put out each day. Staff were friendly and check in was quick and efficient.

The bed mattresses in the dorm room are quite worn out, and many other things need fixing or replacement.

This is one of my favourite hostels on the island. Simple and pleasant. The views from the rooftop are stunning with mount Teide watching majestically over the area. The town is charming and you’ll find good hiking trails around. The hostel is calm and has great outdoor facilities, and the breakfast is surprisingly good with a variety of options.

They have new bunk beds (good intensions) but when lying down you can feel the rigid metal supports thru the thin matress... it needs a thin board between the widely spaced metal supports and the matress ...hope it works out

Obviously, there were sick people and others who snored very loudly in the room, so it was impossible to sleep well for two nights. The cars were also very loud under the window, so there was rarely any silence. If you are a bad sleeper and want a comfortable bed, choose another place.

It was actually a good long-term solution, for two weeks, where I could cook and study/work online. The terrace and the kitchen were great. And thank you for the breakfast, you did a good job considering the possibilities. I worked at a breakfast buffet in a hotel for 14 months, and I saw the effort and the system at your place.

The place is amazing! It had everything I needed and more. I absolutely adore the people I met there, both staff and guests. Everybody is so nice! I got an upgrade to the private room at no cost which was such a great surprise. Breakfasts on the terrace were amazing. I highly recommend to stay in Drago Hostel!

Parking situation, off season was difficult can't even imagine the issues in season. Not very popular off season, so people pleade keep on coming!

Very nice place, convenient for any visit in the area, the caves as well as Icod. Hostel is vast, clean and tidy. Staff ready to support at any point.

Location of the hostel is up the hill, i took a taxi from Estacion Icod to the hostel, since i had a lot of laguage, also the market is not so close down the hill.. the hostel is located on the street, so you can hear a noice from the street..

Staff and volunters are very kind, when i got sick the owner give me a privat room so i can have a rest and helped me with renting a car. Thank you soo much, would recomend if you are in Icos de los vinos!!

Noise, generally - the cars on the street, party in the house until 2am, drunken roommate making noises all night. No respect to others nor respecting house rules even by staff. I could stay only two nights from 3 I've booked.

First they gave us room 1 which is near to the street, it was very loud and we couldn’t sleep that well. However once we express that they moved us to the other room with private toilet way more quiet. The rooms are very dark, a little bit more of light would be great.

The hostel is in a good location and you can find parking easily around. The rooms with private room are good and enough for staying some days. The breakfast is very nice and also the kitchen is very organized 😊 The personal in general were super friendly with us.

I originally booked a bunkbed in a room but they upgraded me to a private one, which I really appreciated. I enjoyed the breakfast with all the home made bread and cakes and the view from the terrace is amazing. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.

The location is a bit far from the beach and uphill, but there are buses connecting the hostel with the coast.

I loved my stay at the Drago Hostel. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The manager Fran was always available and very helpful. The breakfast is great with freshly baked bread and cakes every day. The common spaces are clean and comfortable. I totally recommend it.
