Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyNothing to complain about!
Absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our stay so much, and would go back in a heartbeat. The drive up is a bit scary if you do it for the first time at night after a bit of rain (but still doable), but it wasn't a problem once we knew where to go. The house itself is so cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped, we didn't miss a thing. I'd move in in a heartbeat. The views are absolutely incredible and the north-facing direction must definitely come in handy in summertime. Our favourite part was Adam - such a generous and lovely host. Communication with him was so easy, he really made sure we were taken care of and was incredibly welcoming.

GermanyAdam's finca is absolutely breathtaking. Great location on the edge of Valdemossa. A lovingly furnished house where you will find everything you need on holiday. Surrounded by olives, oranges and lemon trees. We felt very comfortable and welcome here, also thanks to the friendly host who was always checking on our well-being. Thank you Adam, we will definitely be back!

United StatesIt is about a 20 minute walk to town - it's very steep at parts and there are no street lights so I wouldn't plan on walking after dark!
We loved our time at this villa. The views of the Tramuntana Mountains can't be beat and there are numerous places to relax and take in the surroundings in hammocks or comfy chairs, all around the property. The owner, Adam, really went out of his way with suggestions for dinner and with help and suggestions to make our vacation special. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again in the future!

United StatesPerhaps a few better bed pillows. Note that the 2 bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom, that was not a huge issue for us since our daughters stayed in the room next to us, and one has a door leading outside to pool area & an outdoor shower which was awesome but for another couple it could be an issue.
The house was lovely & felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The owner & host, Adam, was wonderful to communicate with and offered lots of help & information. The house is stocked with everything you need except shampoo & conditioner. The place is very comfortable & the views are amazing. The pool is awesome & we enjoyed it very much! There is a fully stocked refrigerator in the pool shed that you can drink whatever & pay up later on a honor system. It is a little tricky to get up to the house but so worth it. Very private spot, secluded, lots of outdoor areas to enjoy. There is an outdoor shower that everyone loved! The grounds have lemon trees & seating all over for you to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. It is a few minutes away from the shopping area of Valldemossa. There is a washer & dryer that came in handy. We made breakfasts & the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. There are tons of movies available to you but unfortunately we were running around & ran out of time for that. Adam is a wonderful host & we cannot wait to come back and stay again! We also chartered his boat for an afternoon & were lucky to have that opportunity to see the beautiful coastline with Adam as our guide. We are so happy we found this special gem!

United KingdomThe villa was on a very steep hill which wasn’t very nice to drive up in our hire car however after a few journeys you get used to it.
Our host Adam, was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We loved the privacy of the Villa and all of the amenities included. Perfect spot to stay with family. All areas were super clean and the Villa had everything you could think of to entertain young children such as pool, games, ping pong and board games

United StatesAdam was a wonderful host! The house was cozy, comfortable and felt like home. There was more than enough room for 4 adults and 2 children. The kids would pick oranges and eat them for breakfast every day and we'd admire the gorgeous view while having coffee! You could easily drive or walk to town. It was a perfect location! Lot's of lovely restaurants nearby to try.

We can highly recommend a holiday in Adam’s fabulous villa!! On the top of a steep narrow road you find this little piece of paradise with splendid views of the village Valldemossa and the surrounding mountains. It is secludedly located without neighbours, which gives a feeling of exclusivity and calmness, and yet you’re only 15-20 minuttes walk (or 5 minuttes drive) away from the charming Valldemossa with nice shops and great restaurants. The villa is beautifull, rustique, spacious and has all the facilities you could ask for. Including a beertap by the pool and a well-stocked bar/wine-refrigerator, paid for with what you think is fair. The pool area is fantastic and the garden is so pretty with fruit-trees, hammocks, and different viewpoint-terraces. And a beautifull light-setting after sunset. Add to this a variety of outdoor ‘sports’: basketball, tabletennis and petanque. The host Adam is so kind and helpfull and goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable - he’s the best host ever! You’ll need to be rather physically fit in order to climb the steep access-road by foot, or alternatively be comfortable with driving a car on a very steep and narrow mountain-road. But it’s absolutely worth the effort, because a stay here is absolutely unforgettable :)

United KingdomAlthough technically it is a "short walk" into Valldemossa, the villa is at the top of a fairly steep hill. Well worth it for the view and although our group had one who was out running every day (don't think he ran up the hill), we also had someone who could not do the hill so we always had to drive down. If you plan to go out in the evening, it is very dark on the way up so I would be prepared to drive.
Adam was super flexible and after delayed flights met us later in the evening and even called a local restaurant to see if they would stay open to serve us food as everywhere was closing. The villa was great with amazing views, a big outdoor space and pool. There is a beer tap by the pool and plenty of wine and spirits at the villa which are available should you need them with payment on an honesty basis. You just pay for what you used at the end (although this can be hard to judge).
