The hostel could improve on their sanitary. It looked outdated and compared to other hostels I've been to it's a bit overpriced.

The hostel is located in a nice district close to the city center and near the Sagrada familia. It has a nice open space when you come in. Cook your food, eat and mingle with others.

It was the perfect place to stay for a short period of time. Located in the centre, 10min away from the Sagrada Familia and the metro station. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time and stay in a perfect spot! (there was even an Italian staff member which was nice to start our little vacation)

the matras was a bit thing sometimes which could be slightly uncomfortable. It was also very hot in the room as there was little ventilation.

Some of the people could be rude and disrupted my sleep which is to be expected in a hostel. However, other than that it was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything. The location was great, comfortable beds with curtains, it was clean . The staff was very kind and helpful during my stay i mostly saw Carlo, it was always nice to see him in the morning and have small chat, he always made my start of the day a lot of fun and full of positive energy :)

The staff was super friendly. My phone stopped working accidentally, and the receptionist helped me at 4 am in the morning with prints for directions to the airport and mobile repair shops. They have a fully functioning kitchen, that was really great. Everything is walking distance from the hostel. Supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi are just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Hostel was very nice. Everything was so clean, shower have hot water and staff was ok. Location is very good. Dinner room is clean and they have all staff for cooking.

The stuff was really nice, also the room is pretty cosy. I booked the room for 14 people and it was comfortable enough. The reception works for 24 hours which is a great advantage. The bathrooms are clean. Everything was just fine.

The weather I did not expect rain like in Holland in Barcelona!

Hola Hostal has a 5 Star Management mentality Carlo and Albert could work in any 5 star Hotel anywhere perfect hospitality and as an insider in the Barcelona Hostel World I can confirm that HOLA definitely is the pinnacle of hospitality in the City there are smaller Hostels that are also 5 star when it comes to hospitality but the entire package here in Eixample is simply perfect! And there is very good news for Barcelona that I am not alowed to share yet but the improvement for the Hostelworld in 2026 will be tremendously!

Very bad internet speed and no mobile data signal inside the hostel. Not recommended if you want to use the internet. Bad signal in lobby and bedroom area. Also toilet near reception is very smelly

Nothing at all best value for money in Barcelona Have been in a few hostels now and the winner is Hola! As a person who has been working with the best Hotels in Austria only 4 and 5 star hotels none of them have better staff and management!

Best Hostel In Barcelona without any doubt ! Simply Perfect Location Rooms Beds Kitchen Cleaning and Staff better than In many five Star Hotels ! Carlo at the reception is one in a Million I know many Hotels who would be very happy with such brilliant people ! Friendly and very competent! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE FACED IS THE WIFI CONNECTION. WIFI COVERAGE IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. YOU CAN NOT USE THE WIFI IF YOU ARE IN THE ROOMS. YOU CAN USE IT LITTLE WHEN YOU ARE LOBBY AREA. IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING.

There was a problem with the ventilation of the dormitories in the basement. The air could be very stuffy at times.
