During the day the room was cold, but it was fine, because at night the heating was hot. It would be great, if there was in the room at least an electric kettle.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the location is excellent, the staff was very nice, we could check in earlier, and we could leave our luggages there.

The rooms are very small but this is quite typical in the area. For me it was enough and I was expecting it but some people might find the room too small or even claustrophobic especially if they travel with a lot of luggage and/or they need to stay longer than a few days. There is a lift but there is a staircase until one arrives to the lift - not a problem for me but it might not be easy for people having mobility issues or heavy luggage (see photo).

Located in a nice building with a clean staircase. The accommodation is clean, even if a bit dated in terms of furniture and aesthetic, it is basic but it had everything I needed (a comfortable bed, a clean shower with good pressure and non-smelly sewage, clean towels, toiletries, good wifi). My room was quiet, facing a large courtyard (see photo) and I could sleep well.

The walls are a little thin hence you are able to hear when your neighbour is coming back to their room or turning up their heating. But those are tolerable as the place is relatively quiet and very calming.

The staff was very responsive and helpful despite not being able to communicate in English. The room was spacious for a one-person stay, the cleaning crew is also very meticulous. The location was within walking distance to every attraction. Walking distance to Gran Via, the museums were within 20 minutes. On the way to the attractions, there are many local stores to view and dining options as well.

Too few power sockets. And the only one I could find in the room was just centered above the bed, not really usable while you sleep. The bathroom had one more to use at night, so it was OK.

Wonderful friendly hosts that provide a very clean and well maintained facility. The Alojamiento is largely on a pedestrian street which is very quiet for Madrid. Numerous restaurants, bars and supermarkets in close proximity. Easy walk to Atocha station, Prado Museum and Puerta del Sol

Room (and bathroom) is a bit cramped from my opinion and heating is not working so it can get chilly at night.

Conveniently located with a lot of nearby restaurants and supermarket. Metro is just walking distance from the hotel. The room is extremely clean.

There was nothing not to like.

This is all about location. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a one or two night stay. An excellent location for exploring the centre of Madrid on foot !

The bathroom and shower are a bit small.

It's quiet, clean, and just everything you need in a small room. I appreciate there is a large window overlooking a nice restaurant rather than a brick wall or no windows at all.

Everything was wonderful!

Great location in the heart of Madrid. Very good value, very clean room with nice bathroom and window to the Cervantes Street. Quiet and safe. Easy to find. It is located in a big flat with 8 rooms and the owners life in the same place, so it's very easy to communicate with them. They were very nice and flexible (we arrived after midnight!). Strongly recommended! I'll come back again to this place and I am from Madrid living in the USA.

The rooms are probably all very small. However if there were a bigger one, I’d like that. The small room did not impact our stay.
