Highly recommend for a special and different experience! The decoration is magical, with every room having its charm and history. We enjoyed the medieval dinner very much, wearing the dresses and eating in thrones. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and attentive. The location couldn't be better.

My room was at the top of two flights of narrow stairs, so not the place for someone with heavy bags and/or mobility issues.

Great location in the old city and only a short walk from the airport bus stop outside the cathedral. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Quiet at night.

Magical place, even better than the photographs. The owner designs and commissions statuary and furniture that are true works of art. Guest rooms are individual with all mod cons and spotless. Wonderful staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return!

There was nothing really to dislike

Manuel the owner checked me in and gave me a few good ideas of where to go, where to eat etc. He was very proud to show me the fabulous fixtures and fittings in this very quirky place. Everyone I met was super friendly and helpful, the room was clean, warm and comfortable. Great position for exploring the city and surrounds. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean room, comfy bed and excellent shower. The location was perfect for exploring Granada, right in the centre with bars and restaurants virtually on the doorstep. The owners were also very nice and helpful. Recommended !

The hotel owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to meet them They let us leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours before the room was ready.

The bedroom was small though the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning wasn't very efficient; I suppose it has to do with the age of the building. There was no soap for the shower, I hope it was just an accident. The reception is in another building and is not always open as in a regular hotel. I couldn't leave my luggage after my stay to enjoy the city a little bit more before leaving because the reception closed early.

It is very well situated (less than 5 min on foot from the Cathedral) The main rooms were filled with statues and decorations worthy of a museum. I got the privilege of a private tour from the owner and it was a great pleasure. He gave me some recommendations and a map of the city.

The owner of the property was the nicest person i’ve met in my life!! Gave a map of the city Granada and showed where all the good restaurants and bars were. Definitely when i’m going back to Granada i’m going this hotel! 😁

The room was smaller than we thought it would be. It was tight getting past the closet and into the closet. There are lots of stairs but that didn’t bother us. I didn’t like putting my luggage on the floor (too hard to put it in the closet). A folding luggage rack would work out well!

The hotel was in a great location. We could easily walk to everything we wanted to see. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We loved the cozy bedding and the beautiful stained glass. The bathroom was very good. We appreciated having the table and two chairs! Carmen, the hostess, bent over backwards to make us feel at home. She doesn’t speak English but communication wasn’t a problem.

The owners are very kind. It was interesting to exchange with the owner about his passion on how he decorated his establishment. We loved our room. For the breakfast, it was not an issue as there are several options around. We went to a tiny local cafe in a parallel street which was very good.

They could leave some explanation, like check-out time, wi-fi access, etc, in the room. Fridge and safe would be a good idea as well!

Excelent central location in the old city (pedestrian area). Parking three blocks away, 24hs, very good. Room nice, huge, comfortable and very clean! Elevator. I just missed a good breakfast, but it was not included!

What a gem! Fabulous location, super clean and very comfortable. A little quirky yes - the first time we’ve ever stayed in amongst a collection of medieval memorabilia, but it didn’t detract from all the good things about this hotel. We very much admire owner’s passion and enthusiasm.
