Location was noisy, decor was shabby & nothing like the pictures on Booking.com, The owner was rude and aggressive when we complained that the photos did not give a true portrayal of the part of the premises were our room was. He also advises us to leave if you weren’t happy as he had a good rating on Booking.com.  and didn’t care what we felt, we were two mature women travelling together and felt very intimidated.

A room for 50 Euro per night max. Narrow in the shoulders. None of the 50+ photos match the room we were given. Soundproofing - not at all; Wardrobe or closet - neither; Clothes rack - none;

Double bed was requested we were given twin. Room given was really small, with poor soundproofing and the facilities are not reflecting the price at all.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Attractive location -especially if arriving by car as there is cooperation with nearby parking.

We took a double room with two single beds. The room was very small for two people and on the third floor with no lift. However, the double rooms are much larger and clients wrote great reviews.

I felt uncomfortable, like I was invading someone’s home more than a hotel, especially when they couldn’t store my bags due to family commitments, but they ended up accommodating me after some confusion.

my husband had horrible allergies, especially in the room, and we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. very tight quarters so you can’t be a bigger person that requires a lot of space

The pictures are a little deceiving.. We thought we would stay in a Medieval themed building and room, but the only rooms functioning are in a tiny building, the rooms are very small and only furnished with peculiar old staff. Also we had no Idea we had to climb 3 full narrow rows of stairs... and considering we were travelling Andalusia we had quite big luggages.

Extremely nice owners, the position was really good, in 30 min walk we arrived at thetop entrance of Alhambra, and in less the 10 min you can be in the heart of Granada, and historical centre. Also the room was sparkling clean, and the bed amazingly comfortable!

I booked this hotel via booking.com with free cancellation 48 hours prior stay. However, I received credit card bill right way which is two month before we supposed to arrive. Not very honest to do business. The photos on websites are deceiving. Room is very small. There is no place to sit, but your bed. There is no space to open your carry on , but on your bed.

Except location, this place is overrated.

The 4th floor room with no lift. At our age's a bit of a struggle. No coffee or tea facilities which we would have expected at that price. There was no breakfast on offer or any other meals as the chef came in fortnightly to cook. The shower was a struggle to get into as the bath and screen made it very difficult to step in.

The location was great really central and convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. I think there were a couple of rooms like that but most the hotel was closed off and our room was small, furnished cheaply and in very bad taste and smelt fusty. The sound-proofing was terrible - when the room above flushed the toilet it sounded like the water was coming into our room.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was in a great location 2 minutes walk from the cathedral.

Do not expect frills here, as this is more like an old school guest house. No elevator, very teeny rooms with very narrow stairwell up a few flights, and you can hear all the guests. the surrounding area is mixed- near historic landmarks and near areas rough around the edges. I don’t mind this but some travelers will. the photo on the listing shows a room ten times larger than what we had.

Old fashion pension lodgings that had a very good price for the room. Very warm and welcoming receptionist who went out of her way to share local attractions.

There was only one bedside table and one lamp, there were bits missing off the shower and the hairdryer did not work. The owner captured us the moment we arrived and gave us a 30 min lecture on his private museum, health, passion and pursuit of the medieval..instead of going to our room he took us into a nearby building where he showed us furniture and rooms he designed and we were expected to enthuse over the baronial set up and dinners in medieval costumes. Yikes... time to retire.

This is more like someones home, not a hotel at all. Does not have parking , bar or breakfast option. Actually nothing beside rooms. Room is super small (probably not more than 12m2) and most disturbing, there is no window. Actually there is a window on the inside 😳 looking in the stairway in the middle of house. So if you close it you run of the oxygen, if you open it you can hear everything and everyone can here you - zero privacy. And because of this, the lady owner is during the night shushing everyone passing through stairs...one night we came from town and just talking while climbing the stairs...and we heard her shushing us from somewhere just for speaking few words...

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

Room very small, no outdoor window. No lift so had to carry cases up a very narrow staircase. Very noisy , could hear just about everything in hallway , stairs and room above . A kettle or coffee maker would have been good but coffee shop nearby so no real problem . Still really enjoyed our stay overall.

Great location, extremely clean and staff and owner very friendly. Fabulous furniture and antiquities in hotel.
