Lack of kitchen facilities. The only kitchen equipment is a microwave, and there is no sink and no water. You have to ask a member of the restaurant staff to fill the kettle for you.

Excellent location opposite Madrid's main station. Short walk or ride from main art galleries, museums, and sights. Helpful staff despite being very busy. Washing machine and dryer available. Different size storage lockers are available. Bathroom and toilets in each room. Multiple communal areas. Even though it's a very busy hostel, you can find a quiet spot even when school groups are staying. Balcony in each room with an opening door to allow fresh air at night when everyone is in the room.

The hotel offers to store luggage after check-out. The price is, however, steep. This is a service most hotels offers for free.

The hotel offers a wide variety of rooms for all generations. The double room we stayed in was great and had a wonderful style and ambience.

Latroupe was the perfect base for exploring Madrid! The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always offering recommendations and going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. The common areas were inviting, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. I especially loved the bar, where I enjoyed stunning vibes and delicious drinks. I'd definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was quite poor, they could do much better like for example starting to add scrambled eggs in the menu etc. In general hostel it’s a bit pricey but from the other side is in a great location!

I didn’t see in the photos, nor did the staff mention, that a padlock is needed to use the locker under the bed. Fortunately, you can buy one at reception

The hostel is very close to the Estación del Arte metro station. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are clean. The toilet and shower are open to the room, and the sink is also in the room, so you might disturb your roommates if you use them very early or late. I needed to change rooms because of a disruptive roommate, and the staff quickly resolved the issue, allowing me to sleep peacefully in my new room.

If the bathroom got more space to hang the clothes, that will be better.

The room is clean and it features a convenient location to train station and metro station. If I have chance to visit this city again, I definitely will choose to here again.

The staff came and let themselves in the room at 9pm to mention the meet and greet. All of our room were almost asleep as we all had early flights the next day

That we need to pay for towels, 2 euros/each, and the lockers only have 2 options for rental, either 3 hours or 12 hours, nothing in the middle. And the main entrance need a key to enter, which is weird and we must wait to be admitted. It was a double entrance after all and would understood if the key was needed on the second one instead of both. But this is a small thing and didn't affect our stay.

I liked the design of overall interior. The room was also well-designed, not too small, still has space to open 3 medium luggage. It was clean, and well-maintained. The modern interior was a highlight for me. I also appreciate the 24-hour reception as we were checking in very late.

Great position, close enough to the center. The room and common spaces are clean, rooms are nice, the rest rooms are clean and beds are very comfy. The staff is kind always there if you need anything. The breakfast offer a good choice and is good enough to have a great start of the day. A great plus is the flexibility for the check-in and check-out. There are also some pretty interesting activities, such as happy hour, and meet the other guest, but unfortunately we weren't able to partecipate to any of them due to our schedule. Also great is the fact that the rooms are basically managed like at a hotel, meaning you don't end up in the same room with people you don't know. I think it could happen bit is quite rare.

The location was perfect, super close to Atocha station and right in the center of the city. The room was just what I needed for a quick stay. This is a great place if you're in transit and need a place to crash. If you're there to visit Madrid the hostel also had a lively atmosphere and some planned activities to get to meet other travelers.

Latroupe is my first stay in Madrid and it's great because: - close to main bus, metro and train station - near huge park Retiro - surrounded by cafes & restaurants but they also have their own restaurant for breakfast or meal during the day and evening - fine food & drinks as evening program - some discounts in restaurant for people staying in hostel - pleasant staff - simple to use system - comfy bed and with it some privacy - every room has it on bathroom and toilet so.. bo waiting - peaceful during the night - lift to get on higher levels of hostel
