Warning for everyone: single rooms are all dark, there is a window but facing to a wall or other window and no sun at all, even in the summer it feels a bit like a dark cave. Also you can here every door shutting/closing, neighbors chatting or laughing at 2-3-4 am. Also taking a shower is pretty loud.

I like the location, walking distance from a lot of sightseeing, shops are around, nice ice cream shops. You get a free fruity water next to the elevator.

I liked everything.

The room was big and has a very comfy bed. It was quiet and nice. There was everything necessary, safe and fridge. Very close to Passeig de Gracia. There are a lot of nice cafes around.

Looks old fashioned since very first sight. Air conditioning broken and wifi not working. Value for money very low also because pictures are not reflecting the reality. I will not come back.

Everything else… Noisy at night, you can listen everything from other rooms. The bathroom makes big noises too so you can know when someone is taking a shower. This hotel is old for sure but the price is still high. Maybe they should invest inside with the money because one day they will have 1 star only.

cleanliness was not great. Other guests ordered take outs to eat in reception. don’t understand that. people/staff were very helpful but it still felt more a hostel/cheap hotel.

I thought I booked breakfast included. but even still the breakfast was poor and expensive. I had breakfast next door and it was far better and cheaper. We were there 4 nights and our room was cleaned only twice.

Rooms were really small, with a window with a dark and plenty of pipes and tubes internal patio view, and really noisy up to 2 o’clock in the morning

We came for Primavera festival, so knew that we would be returning late and sleeping in late. We chose a hotel in a quieter part of the city so we could recharge- it really seemed to be a quiet area and was initially really happy. We stayed for four nights and got such little sleep, because every morning at 9:00am there seemed to be some renovation works starting up. It was so loud with banging it woke us both. I had earplugs- but they didn’t really help. Not only can you hear the next door going to the toilet, they sound like they are in your own bathroom! Laminate flooring adds to the colourful soundscapes above. Also didn’t want to hang out in the foyer because the air fresheners are so strong that it made me feel sick! Oh well!

Greetings, I wanted to express my surprise with Booking.com by the price gouging for my stay at NH. It appears that it was 80 euro extra a night during my stay on Booking.com versus booking direct with the hotel. I even booked in the future on your site just to compare with booking direct with the hotel and still the prices were significantly higher on Booking.com

The room wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived so we have to ask for cleaning (messy floor, hair, fingerprints on everything). Room doesn’t look like on picture at all, it is smaller and furniture is old. Sheets were stained. Our room was next to elevator and personel room and the sound isolation is very poor. We didn’t sleep well at all because we heard everything that was going on in front of our room and arround, like cleaning preparations at 6 A.M., all night guests walking in and out of the elevator. The fridge was loud also, every few minutes we heard some weard loud sound out of it. The bathtub was cleaned inside but outside were hair and dust….

Nice stuff, clean rooms, and a great location. We were early and wanted to drop off our luggage and check in later, but at reception, we were told that the room was ready and we could check up right away. Everyone traveling with a toddler will understand what a relief it is. Online check out was another point, and we were not supposed to wait even a minute for it when leaving the hotel. The receptionist just asked if we used anything in Minibar or not, and that's it. We will definitely choose the hotel for our next stay in Barcelona.

While my stay at the NH Barcelona Eixample was generally enjoyable, there were a few issues that detracted from my experience. One major problem was that the walls in the hotel room were quite thin, so I could hear noises from neighboring rooms, including snoring and other nighttime sounds. Additionally, the mini fridge in the room was quite loud, which made it difficult to sleep at times. Finally, I found that the room itself was a bit shabby and in need of some updates and repairs. While these issues were frustrating, they did not ruin my overall impression of the hotel, and I still found it to be a good value for the price.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, situated in the heart of the city's Eixample district, which is known for its stunning architecture and exciting nightlife. I was impressed with how close the hotel was to public transportation options, such as metro and bus stops, making it easy to explore the city. One thing that really stood out to me was the friendly and accommodating staff.

Rooms don't have air conditioning. First night the room was uncomfortably warm. Gave us a different room second night. Much better.

I requested that my room was added to my rewards program, and this was not done. It was upsetting as we requested for it again, and it was still not done pre and post checkout. Another fact, was the ommission that we had a credit to use from my rewards, which would’ve reduced our room rate upon our extension of our stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and wRm during winter. The accommodation site felt safe at all times.
