Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hairdryers were very awkward to use , press a button on the wall while also pressing a button on the hairdryer constantly while trying to style your hair …impossible! same breakfast every day , not enough choice.Received a bottle of champagne one day 2 days later it was taken out of our room haha unbelievable

United KingdomThe hotel was previously operated by the OD Hotels group. OD ran the hotel very well and created a funky and chic vibe to the place. Ownership changed this year to Leonardo hotel group- and well, sorry to say that the hotel has consequently lost some of its chic: drinking by the pool is now prohibited; music choice by the pool is questionable. No more mini bar in the rooms, no more smart cars to rent. More families and kids in the pool which I don’t remember in previous years… The WiFi didn’t work at all. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel. It’s just lost that cool edge and vibe compared to the OD days…
Location was great, modern hotel and very clean.

United KingdomI was staying on the seventh floor, nice room with great view…and then I was made aware that they were having a party on the roof terrace on a Sunday evening…..the noise was unbearable.I eventually managed to get the lift down to reception (lift was perpetually going from ground floor to the eight floor with party goers, passed the security people that had been put in place who were approaching everyone asking them where they were going and asked for a different room and was told “no we are full” and “we only have a few parties” and that careless comment made me rather annoyed.I then spoke with the manger (nice guy) and he kindly offered me a room on the second floor which I took but could still hear the music. I am normally a fairly easy going guy but I was on a business trip and did not want to endure 5 hours of loud music and the building vibrating…..I think that this hotel needs to decide if it is a boutique hotel or a Magaluf party hotel (as the two things don’t really mix). On a less important note, the hot food at the breakfast buffet is invariably cold and maybe you should look at this but other than that, breakfast was excellent.

United KingdomPool was very small, they have defiantly used a wide lense camera for the hotel photos The pool also opened quite late at 10am, by the time people had finished breakfast the pool was quite busy Breakfast was nice if you were happy to have a fry up otherwise there was not a large selection so ended up eating out for breakfast on our last day. I would say this was a 3 star hotel so would expect to pay a little less than what we did
The location was very good, just a short 5 minute walk to the port, nearby shop too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating Great view in the shower there was a window overlooking the sea

United KingdomService is not the same post-COVID, is it a lack of staff? room service was initially terrible, not serviced for nearly 2 days - with complaints. Initially we arrived when a big group where there and the hotel staff only had eyes for them, it’s like no-one else existed. Breakfast was poor during the first phase, poor service, lacking basics and not what I’d expect of a 4* superior hotel in such an affluent location - e.g. no fresh made coffee (machine only), no eggs ordered, only scrambled, etc etc - first world problems I know but when we stayed prior to COVID and it was The OD chain, it was far superior
Great location for Portals Nous, it is a fabulous location for walking to restaurants and the life of portals. Rooms are nice

United KingdomOn arrival found an incorrect number of beds in rooms allocated which was frustrating and embarrassing in front of other members of the group. Additional rooms were made available eventually but having paid the room charges completely upfront, this did put us in a difficult position to seek accommodation elsewhere instead.

IrelandThe pool closed at 7.15pm - whatever about the pool we would have liked to stay around the loungers reading for example. It was annoying. The cleaning staff were really loud in the mornings and woke us up several times almost screaming at each other. 2 times on our stay we were woken up by people in the room above us - they were very very loud in the middle of the night at 3/4am. We also paid a tourist tax per day that we didn’t know about until check out.
Breakfast was really good. Loved the sun loungers. Staff were very helpful - helped with storing luggage / booking restaurants. Allowed us to shower in a room after check out as our flight wasn’t until 10.30 pm that night and we spent the day at the pool. The shower was lovely too.
