-Beds are super uncomfortable, I woke up my body in pain. - Check out is at 12.00, at 12.02 they called the room to say leave quickly. - Other traveller’s voice, knocking on other door’s was echoing in the corriders, it was too loud and disturbing.

For the money we paid, breakfast was very disappointing. Not much choice. Coffee was terrible (couldn’t drink it). Quality of ham and cheese was very cheap. Pool is very very small. No space to move in it. Sometimes room had bad smell coming from bathroom.

The location is excellent! Really central and next to metro station. Bed is big and spacious. Could easily sleep 2 adults and a 5 year old.

We got a very comfortable room with Rambla view. Even though the temperature was relatively high in Barcelona the days we stayed the room was fresh and we slept really well. The staff at the reception were very helpful. The swimming pool is relatively small but it served the purpose of helping us cool down after the sweltering temperatures during our walk through the city. I believe it's the fourth time I have stayed in this hotel and it never disappoints.

Where do I begin? (1) We arrived promptly at 2pm (which is the stipulated check-in time) and there was only one receptionist. We waited for 20-25 minutes and when it was our turn, the receptionist insisted that he HAD to hand over his shift to the next person at that VERY moment. Why would you choose to change shifts in the middle of peak check-in time? Why couldn't he have just checked us in before changing shifts? No one knows, because he refused to elaborate and was very dismissive towards us. (2) We requested for a double bed. We got two single beds pushed together. (3) Room was really outdated and did not justify the high price. Lighting was also really poor, massive strain on the eyes (4) They lock the main door after midnight, which was boggling to us because Spain is known for late dinners and late-night drinks. I have never ever stayed at a hotel where the main doors will be locked, and to make matters worse, there was no one keeping an eye out for returning guests. At 1am when we were returning from drinks, we had to pound on the main doors for 5 minutes before someone arrived. Even airbnbs do not do this. It made us feel like we were teenagers being locked out by our parents. (5) We asked to borrow an iron in the morning. The receptionist informed us that there was only ONE iron for the entire place and it was not available because another guest had asked for it earlier in the morning. They did not know which guest had asked for it so they could not check whether the guest was done with it. Amazing! You would think that the receptionists would be able to keep track of the single iron in the place but no. Irons cost less than 20 euros, surely the hotel can afford one more iron? We ended up not being able to use the iron, which never arrived. Overall I would recommend looking elsewhere - you will be able to find many places which are way better for the same price tag. The price is not justified by the experience at all and the staff was incompetent.

Location was great (near Plaza de Catalunya where all the shopping is and near the Metro), the neighbourhood felt safe. The bathroom was clean and big, had adequate hot water with strong water pressure. We were able to sleep relatively well at night despite high foot traffic outside late into the night and construction taking place right outside the hotel.

Very high price for what you get here! -Rude staff -Dirty bathroom -Cold and not at all a cosy mood at the Hotel (due to both the staff and the interiors) -Poor breakfast (dry food) (and not a place to enjoy the terrasse in the shadow) -Very small terrasse and pool -Closed pool the one day we were there (and had chosen the Hotel for the kids cause of this) -Tv not working We will not come back here again!

The lack of room amenities, no coffee and tea making facilities in the room. We were told coffee and tea was available 24/7 in the breakfast area but this is locked overnight until breakfast is served - quite late - at 7:30am. The room smelt musty as though water was leaking from the aircon or bathroom. Very basic set up with just a sheet on the bed. Not what I’d expect for the price we paid. The online booking through booking dot com was very poorly handled. Could not pay through the app, the booking was for one not two and then repeatedly emailed to tell me I can only request a double bed not expect one. Staff were argumentative and combative in regards to my surprise at this and completely uninterested in making things right for us.

The location is excellent.

Not many breakfast options and everything there was either sweet or fatty or combination of both. I really disliked the fact that every morning someone ambushes you at the breakfast and asks for your signature while you are trying to put some food on your plate. I think this could be done in much better way.

Location was great, close to many main sights and subway stations. Staff was very friendly and helped with every questions. Really appreciated the fact that you can leave your luggage even after check-out time, which is also very generous, by the way.

Location is perfect but facilities is garbage, first stay wc is broken and nobody help me to fix it, i told them you are big hotel chain,, why you are not gonna fix it, there is no staff to fix it evem 18.00 pm , then i asked them how can i sleep with this bad smells they told me that you have to sleep or you can stay outside that is so mean, then tomorrow i was going to waiting to fix it no nothing fixed within 2 days i stayed 4 days 2 days was nightmare !!!

The room is really in need of a good refurbish. Everything is very tired. My room was extremely bare. It looked like student halls. No good decor, or nice sheets or even nice toiletries for £198/night that’s quite frankly ridiculous. The toilet was broken and you had to wrestle with the cistern to make it flush every time. This was a known fault. The shower splashed all over the floor because they have scrimped on the glass door and so the water isn’t kept in the bath. My room 401 had a damp patch on the wall and no kettle. It just did not feel luxurious or comfortable just very basic. I really did not feel the hotel was worth even 50% of what I was charged.

The location is very central and 30 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to the Gothic quarter. A few bars and cafes in walkable distance. Jessica at reception was helpful.

More than perfect location. Excellent location. Mega big room with mega big bed. Perfect staff. Extremely clean. At our next travel in April to Barcelona I hope I shell book the same hotel. Absoluteli recomended by me and my girlfriend.

AC did not work in our room. It was on the top floor so it got extremely uncomfortable in July. We were not able to switch room for the first 2 nights. When we left on the 4th day the AC repairmen were still working on it.
