Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThat I was leaving after three nights, will definitely come back!
Such a super cozy and well decorated hostel, absolutely comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen with lots of free stuff, free breakfast, it was super easy to connect with other people as the common areas are extremely cozy and you really wanna chill there. The staff is also super lovely and helpful, giving lots of suggestions on what to do. Muchas gracias por todo!

North MacedoniaIt wasn't the hostel's fault, but there was some noise nextdoor to the hostel that was very loud so couldn't fully enjoy in the garden
Loved the vibe and the hospitality of the people who work there! Also, I rarely sleep in such a comfy bed in hostels, so overall a great experience!

PolandThere is a nice free breakfast included in the price! The staff was always nice and helpful. Top- shelf localisation placed in a highier part of the town, ful of historical buildings and nice views- you can see Alhambra, the most iconic attraction to see in the entire city from the window! It's also close to the center. The whole hostel is placed in an old, typical Granadian building that is magnificently arranged inside so it really makes you feel that you're in Granada, place with an outstanding culture and history.

AustraliaA little bit noisy from the central area if people are coming and going late, but ear plugs solve that.
Welcoming friendly staff, great common areas, big lockers, short walk down hill to the main area of Granada.

United StatesWi-Fi ranged from 1-7 mbps during stay so was unreliable for my use. The first room I stayed in was beautiful but shared a wall with the next door resident who kept their tv on all day and night and yelled at their partner; I couldn’t sleep that night. The other room had three-tired bunks that were a bit cramped (can’t sit up) and my roommates kept turning off the heat despite signs saying not to.
When I think of a hostel, this is a great example of one that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside even if the facilities aren’t perfect. Think: charming bohemian ambiance with stellar staff that smile and sing to music they play during the day (in a non-disturbing way that keeps the atmosphere fun); clean facilities and ample tp; comfy beds and pillows; hot showers that drain; towel upon request; baggage storage without any hassles or fees; kitchen stocked with spices and oils and tea and coffee and that lovely “free” shelf; common areas that people use to hang out and socialize; umbrellas to borrow; a free breakfast from about 8:30-10 am… It is a little pricier than others and not perfect (and rooms vary) but it is fantastic. I would return for the food feelz it gave me.

IrelandNothing, it was perfectly adequate for my needs.
Nice comfortable bed and warm room. Lockers provided. Small breakfast included (as in a small choice but you could probably eat a good amount if hungry enough). The girl at checkin was very nice and upbeat - gave the hostel a good vibe when you walk in. They provided luggage storage for early checkin or late checkout. Towel provided. Good location in the Albacín area - you'd soon get fit if walking that area a lot.

United KingdomIt would be better if the top bunk beds had curtains as well for better privacy.
The location is as central as it gets. It's very easy to get to all sights from here. The rooms are very clean and well equipped, with a charging point and lamp. The lower bunks have a curtain for privacy, which wasn't obvious from the pictures. A basic breakfast is served, and the common facilities are well-equipped and very tidy. Staff are incredibly helpful too! There is also a WhatsApp group for meeting other travellers at the hostel, so you will certainly not be alone if you're travelling solo like I did.
