!!!The bar staff and service was very!!!!! bad!!!!. The beds made a lot of noise and all the doors in the corridor slammed shut (not very nice when your putting children to bed) roof top bar was closed could not even enjoy a drink on the roof. The bathers room shower door was half broken

I thought the drinks in the outdoor bar were a little expensive.

It was a very clean , comfortable hotel with lovely staff. It is situated in a brilliant location, which is close to the beach, metro and the beautiful Ramblas del Poblenou. I will definitely be back in Barcelona and I would be more than happy to stay here again.

I was 5 days in Barcelona with my friend, since we just graduated and we wanted a small party trip. The hotel is just perfect. The room was big and comfortable; we had a caffee machine and every morning we drunk our coffee at the rooftop with a spectacular view to the beach. The WC was also big and the workers there always helped us for our destinations in Barcelona and every question got answered. I always felt compfortable to ask them anything!! Also there are bus and metro stations in the near to reach the city and platja bogatell, an amazing beach, is around 10min away by feet. Nevertheless, you can also use the pool and have an amazing view to the beach on the one side and the mountains on the other side. I cannot say anything negative, it was a 11/10.

Only 2 TV channels in english or english texted, ( ca 40 + spanish and some 5 arabic ) The bartender ( a guy ) on the rooftop bar was terrible, but we got compensation in the reception

This is more of a 2/3 star hotel. It’s in need of a good overhaul, it’s very very basic, needs some money spent on it and the pool may as well not be there- it’s cheaply constructed and tiny. The pictures give a very different image of the hotel.

We had a coffee machine in the room, but neither the tea or coffees were replenished every day. A small gripe, but worth mentioning.

Staff were lovely. Not a small hotel and by no means a big one, felt intimate and homely. Lovely room. Close to everything needed. Bus stops outside, etc. Lovely breakfast. Staff were very, very nice.

Quite far from centre of city which was ok given that it was our first visit and we got a good overview of the city from travelling in and out. Had breakfast one morning. Ok but basic.

Shower cabin was broken, tv turns on and off all the time, shower was in very bad condition. Personal didn't understand what we want. We waited for one person who worked in one time on the rooftop and downstairs.. there was not 4 star hotel. Sorry. The price was not attended for the quality.

Everything was good

The location and the staff are amazing. Carlos who welcomed us on our arrival explained everything and gave us plenty of useful information. Very clean, fresh towels every day. And lovely continental breakfast.

I am used to sleeping in my own bed, it was not the same comfort, though I felt rested on waking up. I wanted to reuse the towels leaving them on the rack due to environmental issues, but they were changed on a daily basis.

Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and relaxed. Room was spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was tasty and keep us going all through the day. Great location, close to the beach. Highly recommended.

I was made to feel very offended when I was accused, by 3 members of staff, of going for breakfast twice on one day when I had only got a glass of water before going outside prior to having breakfast

That is rated 4 stars, but I would only give it 2. Rooms are very small and basic in need of an update. Breakfast is very basic and nothing like you would expect in Spain in a 4-star hotel .

Close to the beach

Zero sound proof between rooms. We had an adjoining door between us and next door who had children and they kept trying to open it. They wasn't particularly noisy but you could even hear them turn over in bed. The bar on roof terrace wasn't open, the staff who ran the bar in the hotel couldn't understand what we wanted and had very limited bar experience and stock.

Location, cleanliness and comfort. Nice in appearance..they changed towels every day and made bed to every day.
