The receptionist told me that the standard double rooms do not have a view of the sea. I needed to upgrade my reservation to have a view over the shore. Meanwhile, my room had a view of the city, which was nice, too. The sauna temperature can be higher to comply with the Finnish sauna standards.

Everything went well for my stay in Clarion Helsinki. The whole building is new and clean. There's a good view from the window to the city and the sea. There are rooftop sauna, a pool, and a gym at floor 16. The pool area has the same temperature as outside so during winter it can be freezing and windy. The water was relatively warm. The sauna and shower room are large, clean, but separated for men and women. There is a bar on the top floor with a nice view too. The breakfast was excellent as it had many options and was delicious.

The only thing I didn't like was the scrambled egg that weren't made from eggs but dehydrated eggs. It would also be nice to have real finnish rye bread at breakfast. ²

The views are amazing and we also enjoy the location. Sauna and pool are great. The breakfast is very comprehensive and tasty.

Location a bit outside of city center, but the tram stop is directly in front of the hotel, and you could also walk to the city centre (20-30 min walk). Room was clean, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and helpful staff

The standard room I stayed in was quite small, which made it a bit tricky to organize my stuff, especially for a longer stay. Also, breakfast was a bit of a letdown—not the food, but the space. It got really crowded, and it felt a bit chaotic trying to find a spot and grab what I wanted. If they could work on those things, it would make the experience even better.

I had a really good experience staying at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki. The modern design and overall vibe of the place are amazing, and the rooftop pool and sauna were definite highlights for me. The views of the city and the sea from up there were absolutely stunning, definitely something I won’t forget.

Pool is located outside, maybe it’s our mistake that we didn’t noticed that in description. Hard was to find information about reservation with two small kids, while booking we asked about baby bed, but actually at number it wasnt there,at check out for kids 3 and 5 years be ready to pay extra 10€ per kid for breakfast. Our number was located near ice maker so at night we had to hear some intresting rumble. We reservated cheapest number, so if you take same be ready that your window view will be neighboor tower and other hotel guests.

Amazing breakfast, more than you can expect , tables with sea view, very clean numbers and cosmetics for everything you need. Beatiful design and open space. Overall of stay was good.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The housekeeping team did incredible work with cleaning the room each day. The reception and cafe team were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were amazing, especially for a vegetarian. Bed's were super comfy, and Sky Bar and sauna were heavenly. Hope to come back again.

They can add more vegetarian options to the restaurants and keep it open for a little longer, they close at 10 and then there's no food around!

The hotel staff was really nice and welcoming, they were polite and helpful. Pyry, was extremely pleasant to deal with during our check-in. Accommodated our request for rooms with a view. The sky room bar is definitely the highlight with the amazing bartender Ardi to make the best cocktail you can enjoy with a great view!

I was disappointed by the spa area: in the photos, the pool looks rather big but in reality, it's very small and not well-heated. Already in September it was too cold to swim. The relaxing area is also outside - an odd choice in a cold country... The sauna is nice but not very hot and it's separate for men and women so you can't enjoy it with your partner. The spa was one of the reasons we booked the hotel so that was quite a letdown.

The hotel is very modern and has cool views over Helsinki. We really liked the lobby with the designer furniture, the business facilities, and the rooftop bar. The room is small but well-designed. Service was great everywhere.

The room was small and I am not the biggest fan of the mattress top, even though it was not uncomfortable at all. The bathroom counter was stained. The elevator also get busy, as they give access to the bar in one of the top floors. Yet, fairly minor things.

The hotel is very nicely set and the mood is pleasant. The staff was friendly too. Breakfast had a lot a great variety to choose from. The sauna and pool on the top floor are very pleasant and offer a great view of the city. The great value of the hotel adds up to all this. Furthermore, we forgot a kindle in one of the rooms, that we recovered a few days later :)

Nice modern hotel with lovely interior, really clean and smelt amazing. Great location within walking distance of the centre as well as multiple tram options. Also within walking distance of the Tallink terminal for a trip to Tallinn. Breakfast was the best I have ever seen and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities were of a high standard - a great bar with amazing views of Helsinki as well as a nice spa.

Very stylish hotel with beautiful views of the port and city. Location is great, with a tram stop right outside. The rooftop pool, sauna, and gym area is top notch. Amenities are very nice. We were travelling with our 5-year-old son and the hotel had a kid siZed bath robe and slippers for him on his bed, which was a nice touch. Breakfast is varied, fresh, and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with this hotel.

The check-in was extremely long. Most of the people were there at 3pm as that was the beginning of check-in time. There were super long queue in both self check-in and with the staff. I would suggest to add more self checl-ins or more staff to do the check-in.

We enjoyed very much the breakfast buffet. We weren't aware that there are specific slots that people need to book even if the breakfast was included as we did the check-in, so I would suggest to add one sentence in the machine. But the food was great and there was plenty of options that tasted very good!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were so cheerful, welcoming and helpful. There was a huge choice at breakfast with many healthy options. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also delicious and the restaurant had a nice ambiance.
