Breakfast was amazing, wide variety of things. I was a bit surprised there was only one kind of rye bread, but the clientele was clearly more international than Finnish. The bathroom was very impressive...maybe larger than normal because it was a wheelchair-accessible room. The hotel was very quiet and the curtains kept the light out, so sleep was deep and relaxing.

The room had a TV and Chrome Cast, but the Chrome Cast did not work for us. We let the front desk know, they promised us it would be looked into by their maintenance team, but then never got back to us, so we ended up not being able to play any music or any movies on the TV for the entire stay there. Their wifi did not work for one of our phones - when we asked the front desk, they said it was because the phone was too old - the phone in question is from 2020. They were not able to offer any other wifi option. Also, and this may have been on us - even though it's a 3 star hotel, they did NOT offer complimentary slippers and robes, which we were expecting. They did, however, offer them to us to make up for the Chrome Cast and wifi not working.

Our booking had breakfast included, and it was very tasty. The room was very clean, the curtains were thick so we could block out the light and get a restful sleep each night. The location was very central, we could get almost everywhere we needed on foot. When we checked out, we forgot a jacket in our room - we let the hotel know via Booking chat, they gave us the reception email address so we could coordinate and have one of our friends in Helsinki go and pick it up. The reception staff was also very prompt in answering any questions on Booking chat before our stay there.

Great size of rooms, the bathroom was amazing. Great shower. The room was very modern with cool light switches and other details. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was super friendly.

a few more shelves in the bathroom would have been useful to store the toiletries; and the little sticks in the bedroom that work as hangers are nice, but we never figured out how to move them as the sticker next to them suggested was possible (probably could have asked to be honest, and not a big deal anyway)

Very good hotel, staff was super attentive, breakfast is open until 11am (so you can turn it into a brunch instead, saving money on lunch) and has plenty of healthy and lactose/ gluten free alternatives which is very welcomed in our case. They also provide an early breakfast takeaway box if you check out earlier (before 7 am). Rooms are clean and ligh can be adjusted with dimmers which is also a nice feature. Location is perfect, within a train ride of the airport and walking distance (anywhere from 5-30 min depending on where you are going) to the main atrractions of Helsinki. We also used the gym and the co-working space when staying here, and both were of great quality (spacious, welll lit and ventilated, nice ambience overall; towels and water provided at the gym). Really recommend staying at this hotel!

Everything was perfect

Due to its central location, almost everything is at walking distance from the hotel. The room was very nice and clean, breakfast was plenty and delicious. Design of the hotel interior, rooms, and furniture is lovely. Very good value for the price.

You finnish people should really, really work on your coffee at breakfast. Very big buffet with all sorts of options… except a decent coffee (instant powder kinda stuff… horrible)… I know, its just a detail, but who can even start the day without at least one good cup of coffee in the morning. Good location. Helpful staff. Overall it was a nice stay

the staff was very welcoming and helpful in any questions we had. the rooms are nicely designed and quiet. we really enjoyed the breakfast with the many choices, even vegan options. we would visit Scandic Helsinki Hub again.

First room had no windows (only high sky lights) and felt a bit claustrophobic. Reception very helpfully moved me to a room with bigger window.

I liked everything about the hotel, my room, the breakfast, the staff and of course the location, quite frankly, there was nothing whatsoever to dislike about this hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel, the fact that although occupying a central position close to all the amenities, it was like a quiet little oasis with a park just across the road adding to it's charm. Full mark's must go to the hotel staff who were all very helpful and attentive to people's needs, I appreciated very much the early breakfast supplied on my very early departure! The room's (I stayed for two nights and returned again a few day's later for another two night's) were a very good size, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

We were upgraded for free to a really nice, very spacious room. The location was excellent. We easily walked to everything and spent lots of time along the Esplanade and harbor.
