On checking out, we were informed that we no longer were able to access the free hotel wifi as it required a room number nor were we allowed to use the hotel provided pool towels. After checking out at 10am, with a flight at 4pm, we were made to feel unwelcome even though we continued to spend money at the hotel, making use of both the cafe and restaurant for breakfast and lunch. This was disappointing. Given this is an airport hotel, I would expect the hotel to be accommodating to overnight guests using it as a stopover between late/early flights.

Not close to town or beach as we had to take a taxi .

Location is great, walk from airport to hotel. Initially room provided was not up to scratch as it was close to kitchen hence all cooking smells were overpowering, but staff relocated us to a room that had no issues. Staff were friendly and accommodating and even provided us with tennis racquets' so we even played tennis during our stay. Pool area was superb with water slide, ample chairs, lounges and umbrellas.

Love the fact that there's a free airport shuttle service. Staff was nice. Decent place for short stay if you have long layover. Rooms were simple but clean. Air conditioning could be better though.

The hotel is located minutes away from the airport and it is reachable by foot directly from international arrivals terminal. The structure is new, with a nice garden and two pools, one of which has a fun slide. The room was big, clean and fully equipped with everything needed. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they have allowed us to use the pool all day after check-out until our late evening flight, providing towels and showers. The restaurant of the hotel serves very tasty dishes and there is also a small shop. The Wi-Fi was good in the common areas.

Only one downside was the pool area tiles and ‘bridge’ was very slippery. We saw a few people slip over, so just beware.

Super handy location and great facilities for a short stay before transferring to an island. It exceeded our expectations! Food was good, lovely staff and excellent pool. My children didn’t want to leave, they loved the waterslide (which was rather intense!). We appreciated the ability to stay and use the facilities after checking out. Overall, excellent value for money.

I recently had an overnight stay at the Fiji Gateway Hotel, and I must say, it was a comfortable experience for the price. The highlight was definitely the massive pool and the speedy waterslide, providing plenty of entertainment. Dinner was delightful, offering a range of dishes that left a lasting impression. While the room was a bit on the small side, it was compensated for by the excellent customer service. The staff were welcoming and even provided a free airport transfer, which was very convenient given our early flight the next day. I would absolutely recommend the Fiji Gateway Hotel, especially for travelers who are transiting to or from hotels that are far from the airport. It offers a seamless, enjoyable stay that helps to either kick-start your Fijian adventure or wrap it up on a high note.
