No lift but the security guys, great carrying our bags upstairs for us. And down.

We met at Gateway, families from Australia and Canada before heading to an island. Great place to meet around huge pool. Some overnight and some of us for a few days. Restaurant staff so friendly and food great and reasonable. We always feel welcome at the Gateway.

The room we had was functional but oddly set up family room and had painted cement block walls, no ambiance. The patio looked out on a construction site and the air was not fresh outside, probably because of the airport across the street.

The lobby was very nice and tropical. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant in the lobby with the live musicians. The location was convenient, a short walk to the airport. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Wifi system not good. Only free in public areas and even then it went down. Plus you need to log in every hour. These days wifi access is usually free throughout a hotel

Wi-fi from the room (payable) was rather slow, the TV resolution wasn't great. They charged me for a plug adaptor which I had returned the same day.

The room was small but clean and quite well-appointed, bathroom spotless ; checkin and checkout were quick & efficient, the airport shuttle easy to find from the directions given. (As this was a transit stop, that ticked most of my boxes). Large pool. Decent selection for breakfast.

Some noise from construction which we were aware of before our stay, rooms getting a little tired, tv sound didn't work but we were too tired to bother getting someone to try and fix it.

Spacious and comfortable rooms, huge pool (could keep a distance from all the kids), enjoyable entertainment around the bar and restaurant, great meals, staff gave great service, felt like a resort even though so close to the airport, timeliness of airport shuttles

No wifi in the bedrooms only in the lobby. Felt a little run down but fit its purpose perfectly.

Liked that it was close to the airport and the dinner menu had loads of variety and was yum!

Proximity to the airport was key….about 200metres. Pool was excellent. Room comfortable. Excellent restaurant

The half clean bathroom Yes I did.ask for a quiet room the builders for not a problem. My room was opposite the rubbish bins and a small room wher staff seemed to have lasted night chat time! Very, disrespectful,

The atmosphere for both adults and children the staff were awesome except for the grumpy lady at the bar! The guitar added to the atmosphere Shuddle bus and available taxis were good

Bathroom smelt very musty and there were a number of mosquitoes in the room.

Location being across the road from the airport made an early morning flight much easier! Bed was nice and comfy and shower flow was excellent.

We like everything about the hotel which is why we try to stay there every time we arrive in Fiji. Have stayed here for the last 14 years apart from when we couldn't travel because of covid.

Everything was actually really great and carefree.
