How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were a bit cold, there could maybe be a portable stove top, a lot of noise in the house, but all in all we are very happy with our stay☺️🙌🏽
Great location, free parking, good beds, nice view of the ocean, nice host, very clean and tidy, valuta for our money🙌🏽

All was good, though the curtains could have blocked more light at night.

Tight quarters: not much space to open suitcases, for example.
A good budget option with easy access to airport and other Vagur attractions, located on the main road at the edge of a pretty village. The host has made the most of a relatively small space.

No all good for what it is.
As We wanted to check out this part of the Faroe Islands this was a good choice for 1 night after we flew inn. It was a nice cozy little place with a view, woke up with sheep grazing out the front of our window. the owner recommended the restaurant near the airport and that was nice.

Perhaps the kitchen can be equipped with a few more appliances to enable home-cooking. Would add a lot of value and would make me doubt to stay for more days. But now, Faroese prices for restaurants are making travellers on a budget pick locations with some kind of kitchens to make hot meals.
Check in was easy, friendly host, good bed and nice view on the ocean. The village is worth a visit!

We arrived at night, and it was difficult to find. There are several houses nearby, and it was unclear which one of the places was where we were staying.
It was a great place to stay after a long (24 hour) travel. It is so close to the airport. The view of the ocean when we woke up was beautiful! The apartment had what we needed for our stay—kitchen was well stocked with some staples and had the basics covered for dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable.

- some spots in the apartment were absolutely not clean (but the owner took care of it right away when we addressed the issue) - the TV is located at an interesting place (one needs to sit / lay on the beds to watch it) - the rent needs to be payed cash
+ nice location, nice view on the bay + free parking place (but not right at the accommodation, one needs to walk a bit) + a personal request was very nicely met (thanks again!) + the apartment and kitchen have most everything you need + relatively close to the airport + quick and easy contact with the owner + the apartment has four beds (even though we only used two)

You better book some place to eat before arrival as it is not easy to get a table in the local restaurants.
Very nice apartment with all the facilities neede. Placed in the nice location near the airport and some trekking paths. Helpfull owner. Free parking.

Could be more clean the bathroom Cash only
We stayed here twice once in the full apt and then on the bedroom. Both were comfortable and the room had some facilities such as sink, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. Very quiet area but very close to hikes.

Apartment was a bit dark, with windows only in the bedrooms. There was a weird/chemical smell in one of the bedrooms. Bathroom had a bad/damp smell.
The location was great. Flat was well equipped. Easy to check in.

The living room and kitchen are small but functional. Sound insulation was poor from the kitchen/bathroom next door. Slight smell of drains in the bedrooms (but not bathroom!) after using the shower.
The location, welcome and price were great.
