How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Possibly just a bit noisy in the corridors outside the rooms but they forewarned so it was ok and expected.
Breakfast was lovely, beautiful setting and such great staff.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional owners! Marion and Philippe were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout. Our garden room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast amidst the palms and flowers every morning. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach at Juan-les-Pins and you have the added benefit of a beautiful 30min stroll through the town to old Antibes, the Picasso Museum, the Marché Provençal and many, many charming and delicious places to eat. We’ve stayed in many great hotels in many beautiful cities but this was the best!

Our double bed were 2 beds put together. During the night the mattreses slightly separated. Except for this small issue, all was perfect!
Everything was perfect: location, hosts, room etc. We recommend it!

Super nice hotel, the staff is very kind and available for every request. Clean, spacious and bright room. Very good and pleasant breakfast in the garden. Highly recommended!

Very kind welcome by the owners of the hotel (in French or English). It's an impressive and beautiful building, a bit of an old-world feeling that the owners maintained, also in the way they run the hotel. Quiet location, but close to the citycentre of Juan-les-Pins and the beaches. Antibes is easily reached too. Good breakfast.

Such a charming hotel, which is run by the loveliest couple who have such a great story to tell. Beautiful garden for breakfast. Clean room with good amenities. The owners are very welcoming and it has a really cosy familiar feeling. Not far to the beach and good restaurants, and a 10 min walk to the station. Would definitely stay again.

drop off and pick up ... no car spaces to pull in
nicely decorated - convenient location ..... charming owners and everything worked efficiently. Parking could be an issue. Very pretty garden - didn't try food and only soft drinks available but a very pretty place.

There is no elevator, so you do have to carry your bags. However, Marion and Philippe are more than happy to help with your luggage.
The couple who bought Hotel Alexandra is absolutely delightful! They are friendly, helpful, professional and make you feel very welcome. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The garden is lovely and a wonderful place to have breakfast. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is well located and it is very easy to walk to town. There is also a bus very close by. We did not have a car so it is not possible to comment on parking possibilities. The 2-night stay was very pleasant. I would gladly return in the future.

The hosts Marion and Phillipe are wonderful, and take great care of all the guests. The building is an old and beautiful home with lots of charm and a lovely back garden.

Beautiful clean hotel in a perfect location. Rooms were very clean and spacious and had really good air conditioning. The owners were fab. I would definitely stay here again.

The single room is not very good value for money but it is nice. Would recommend to get one of the double rooms instead though. Beware there are only stairs and no elevators (2 floors tops)
The hotel is a family owned property. This is their first year in the job so they are super excited and super welcoming. My general experience in France with service has been very poor, but in this hotel they were super welcoming and sweet. There are items you can borrow for the beach like beach umbrellas, toys and books, which is super nice and thoughtful.
