Heater was not on even when room mate reminded the staff and was shivering in cold.

To get to the showers or toilets one need to go through the main hall, which is a little bit awkward, especially if there's a concert. It was also quite chill in the room.

Very friendly stuff and blazingly fast internet. A lot of room to sit and work. Relatively big bunk beds. Storage lockers right near the bed.

The facilities needed a little upgrade but were ok for 2 nights.

The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. Thanks, Marie for helping me practice my French.

The breakfast could have been a little more complete, and there was no keycard to the room, but other than that, everything was fine.

The staff was really nice and helpful, the facilities were very good, I liked the curtains in the rooms. Also, the vibes in the common room were the best! I loved the Halloween decorations and the music playing, I honestly felt very safe and comfortable in that common room.

The bathroom situation was very uncomfortable to be, as well as the lockers. There was a situation in my room with a drunk/high man, which of course can’t be control by the staff, however I expected a better reaction from the receptionist (guy with curly hair).

The staff was mostly nice and caring. The común areas were perfect and there was always cookie on the table for the guests for free! You can get good information at the front desk.

Not much of an atmosphere inside the hostel, it’s pretty quiet and travelers didn’t seem to mix. I guess that’s ok if you are just there to chill. There is also no outdoor space like roof terrace. The location is pretty far from the station but still accessible by public transport.

Cool place, beds are comfortable and private, showers are good and plentiful. You can buy a small cheap breakfast and theres a bar. I liked the item exchange (where you can leave something and pick up other useful stuff for your onward journey)

Worst thing was probably the coffee, though all of Lyon had this problem, my Finnish taste buds didn't fit the place. So not too bad in the end. :D

Good location, good value. I like that it's location in the 9th arrondissement, I found it was close the places I wanted to see in the city, such as the Lyon Cathedral. It's also good value compared to the competition.

The room was extremely hot, but it's because of this strange and unexpected heat... not the structure's fault...but maybe a fan could have helped ;)

Lovely atmosphere: you feel you're at home and you can stay in the common room working/reading/relaxing or meeting people feeling at ease. Loved having a kitchen but also a bar where you could order breakfast (the night before) and drinks. Despite being many people in the dorm, it didn't feel strange or annoying, 'cause everybody had a curtain on their bunkbeds and everybody was respectful of others. Really nice and welcoming staff!

noisy bar right beneath the window, difficult to reach from Part-Dieu Train Station, I was informed at check in that my check out time was 8:30am instead of 12:00pm. I would have preferred to be informed by a message some time before.

The AC had not been turned on in the dormitories, which meant that the room took a long time to cool down. And there were no clear rules about when the lights should be turned off, which meant people kept turning them on again, even when it was after midnight.

The check-in went very smoothly, the facilities were good and clean.

The doors didn't have locks, and people in my room had their phones and wallets stolen by people outside the hostel.

Free concert and salsa course at the hostel was really nice! met some lovely people.

There is always someone at the reception to take care of the guests. The place itself was very cozy, tidy and heartwarming. The atmosphere was good and safe. I would go again.

The bathrooms were just ok, and as far as location goes I wish it had maybe been closer to downtown.

It’s super cute, really easy access to the metro and bus system, and they rented bikes which I didn’t use but I wish I had! Super awesome for travelers on a budget, nice kitchen with plenty of storage. The staff were all super friendly. If you like walking, it’s in great distance from the Basilica and old town (which was my favorite part of Lyon).
