Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaAs with any authentically old accommodation there are some minot technical compromises in plumbing + electrics but none of these were any problem. Not swish in decor like some over renovated places, but comfortable + characterful.
Location was stunning in small but beautiful Cotignac. Right on the prettiest square + fountain where you could watch daily life from the french balcony. Jonny the host was a very friendly, practical and affable host. Felt like we made a new friend instantly though we stayed only one night. Spacious + everything worked fine in kitchen + bathroom.

AustraliaThe apartment is on the second floor, so you will need to carry bags up two flights of stairs - but not difficult.
Jonny was a fabulous host, he met us at the apartment and explained everything. The accommodation was neat, clean and spacious. It was well appointed for cooking, washing and sleeping. The view was of the clock tower and a pretty square. It was also directed opposite the best boulangerie in Cotignac. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment. Thanks for your hospitality Jonny.
