Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWi-Fi signal is terrible. This place is great for someone who does not need to be connected to the internet for leisure or work.
The location of this hotel is excellent! Metro station is across the street and Eiffel Tower is within 15 min. walk. Plenty of restaurants around and fresh market on the weekends.

United KingdomI understand the location factors into the price, but £470 for a small room with no view at all, no shower amenities and a bulb that continued to flash was just disappointing. I asked to upgrade, although I couldn’t really afford it but was told there were no rooms, although I could see on booking.com that there were. I would love to stay here again, just wish there was more value for money.
the staff were really friendly and the location was absolutely amazing!

the staff were so friendly and helpful. Sow gave us a warm welcome and had been very informative til we checked out. the location is perfect, walking distance to Eiffel tower, mixed restaurants, metro, groceries. there was a bit of a problem with our AC in the room but they were able to provide us with fans so we will be more comfortable. buffet breakfast was also worthit, you dont need to book in advanace, you can just eat on the day you choose and they will just charge it upon checkout. they were also able to provide us transportation to airport upon check out (with a fee). i will definitely come back and recommend this place to family and friends.

CanadaThe washrooms were kinda tight. I’m 6’1” and it was a little tight for the toilet. But don’t let you not come to this hotel. It was totally worth it.
Favourite was as follows: 1) Customer service: Our flights was cancelled last minute. Everything was booked and he gave us the room for another night, dirt cheap. really nice customer service. would not stay anywhere else in Paris. 2) The location: Really close to the Eiffel. Right next to a small market and McDonald’s. Right infront of a train station (didn’t disturb us at all, no noise, no funny business) 3) The hotel itself: Really pretty, clean, decent breakfast.

Location, amazing cheap price for room with Eiffel view right from bed. it’s amazing to watch airplanes flying crossing in distance right behind tower. breakfast was good, nothing fancy but had everything to have nice meal with quality food and orange juice(was fresh). was worry as it’s a cross open metro but no laud sound. it’s pretty quite at night. would recommend restoran Suffer to visit near by….it has amazing sea food, snails, frog chops and other traditional food and prices are normal. food is really delicious.

United StatesThe man at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming, instead sarcastic and kind of rude. Wifi was basically non existent, which is very inconvenient when you’re traveling and trying to book tickets in advance to museums and such. Breakfast was laughable, if it was included in the price of hotel stay, sure I’ll take it and move on. However, you pay an additional €12 per person/per day, for 3 varieties of deli meat (which I don’t eat), croissants (plain or chocolate), some cereal and boiled eggs. Definetly not worth it. The bed was tiny for two people, and the room itself was small as well. Overall, for the price it costs to stay here per night, all you really get is location and not much else.

AustraliaThe room we were allocated was a disabled room positioned next to a smoking area. Inside the room itself, we had a shower which had no option to fix the handpiece to the rail which was very annoying and made the shower terrible to use. The room was also in a spot where the WIFI didn't work, we asked the staff to assist with this and they were helpful however no matter what WIFI we used it didn't work well enough to do anything online. The biggest disappointment was the location of this room next to the smoking area which made the room smell of smoke the whole time. To top this off we had to call reception multiple times to request others to be removed from the smoking area late at night as they were making a lot of noise and keeping us awake.
The staff were excellent and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the location of the property and the surrounding area was good for everything we needed.
