The staff at this property were exceptional - they went above and beyond to help us book restaurants, wine tastings and taxis and were so passionate about the area. Breakfast is fantastic and the setting of the property and the interior design is really beautiful.

Nothing to note, everything was perfect.

The property and experience fully exceeded our expectations. The grounds, room, facilities were lovely, we felt very at home. Both Elise and Zelie were incredibly attentive, kind and provided wonderful recommendations for visits in the Jura region. We are so grateful! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely come back and recommend La Closerie to friends and family visiting the region in the future!

very nice and charming house, great common spaces such as garden, terrace, eating room, cellar, etc. Super friendly personnel that made us feel at home immediately. In the heart of the small village of Arbois so all is walking distance. Excellent recommendations and a great place for wine lovers because of the connections with wineries in the region.

As Americans, we would have preferred a tub/shower combination that allowed us to stand up while using. But we know it's a cultural thing . . . .

As we are older guests, we would have preferred a room that did not require access via three sets of stairs.

The large room was comfortably furnished. The full breakfast offered a range of dishes and exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and happy to assist with any requirements.

Elise and Zélie are fantastic! The personal hospitality makes the stay so special. The warm greeting, responsiveness, fantastic breakfast, feeling of privacy yet being in a home shared by others was lovely. Our room was perfect and decor is charming and authentic. Ideal location in the heart of Arbois. Excellent breakfast. Elise, the hotel manager, was very welcoming; she's an ideal host. The grounds were beautiful as well and the wine available for purchase on property was excellent too. We had our 9 year old daughter with us, and while she was the only child at the hotel during the stay, we felt that she was very welcome.
