Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLocation to Eiffel Tower only a 10-minute walk. We did not indulge in the breakfast served. Dinner restaurants were also within walking distance. I have to say Thierry was an exceptional host. Even prior to our arrival his communication with me via email was timely and very helpful information. It was a pleasure meeting him. Thank you, Thierry...

United StatesWhile the hotel lists A/C as being available, it did not cool the room at all. It listed the room at 24c (75F), but it felt hotter than that. I didn't realize when I booked, but the rooms do not have coffee makers, water glasses, or irons, like most hotels I've stayed in.
The hotel was with 10-15 walking distance to trains and subways. 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower and touristy areas.

United StatesIt is not the hotel's fault, but having made plans to stay here to see the Eiffel tour at night, and having checked in close to 11 pm, we weren't able to accomplish what we set out for, as we didn't know the lights are dimmed/turned off at 1 am, and by the time after getting a late dinner at nearby Rhinoceros Bar we got there by 1:20, the Eiffel Tour didn't look as dazzling. So this note is for future travelers with the same purpose: The lights are dimmed at 1 am, not 2 am, as an article on enjoying Paris at night had led me to believe.
The location was awesome, close to the Eiffel tour, which is what we wanted to see during this overnight layover trip.

United KingdomWell, we were not aware that we need to pay for “city tax” before we can check-out as I have not read it before booking the hotel and none of my friends who booked a different hotel in Paris were asked to pay for a city tax.
I like the property’s location as it is close to the scenic spots especially the Eiffel tower.

United StatesThe room is very small. The bathroom has a transparent wall which can be very inconvenient when taking a shower because other people in the room can see you
the location is great, next to the Eiffel Tower. It also has many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making our stay very convenient. There is always someone in the front door, and staff was very helpful.

AustraliaThe room was very small and didn't include a fridge, which was inconvenient given we'd bought some nice French cheeses, which ended up making the room smell and went off quickly. For the price of the room, which was well above other hotels we stayed in during our trip, I think a fridge should be included. All other hotels we stayed in included a fridge and mini bar.
A great location, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Nice location within walking distance to EiffelTower. We really appreciated being able to stow our luggage after our early morning arrival so we could explore the city before our afternoon check-in time. Room was quiet and dark with shades drawn, especially for travel weary guests who went to bed early afternoon. Hotel was next to a crepiere, where we enjoyed crepes and cappuccinos. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

United StatesWe didn't feel there was anything negative about the place. The location is was good, the people were nice and over all we felt it was a good value. We even attempted to stay another couple of nights but they were fully booked.
We loved how cute it was and easy location. The breakfast they provided was delicious. It was clean and staff was good to work with. The biggest issue of course is how small the bathrooms are, but that has nothing to do with the place. Welcome to Paris.
