How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location, very close to the tower, which makes it super convenient for exploring. The room was good, but some basic amenities were missing—no slippers, and the fridge was turned off. Service could have been better; they didn’t allow early check-in, which was disappointing. However, a lovely girl and a French staff member were very kind and helpful, especially with arranging a Bolt. I really appreciated that!

Lift was very small. The lock on the hotel room door doesn’t work. The twist lock lever is on the door but there is no actual lock in the door. Only safety lock is your keycard. There was no problem with it but just worth making a note if you prefer that extra bit of security feeling for peace of mind. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work. You could also hear everything outside and in other rooms from your own room.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel is clean, modern and is in a good location close to the Eiffel Tower.

Support for shower head wasn’t secure so kept sliding down pole, making it very difficult to shower. Milk and sugar not replenished in room as part of tea making facilities so asked reception for some when returning to hotel in the evenings. First night, Receptionist went to get some. Second night, a different Receptionist was unhelpful and didn’t even bother going to look for any.
Comfortable bed, clean room, headboard lighting was a nice touch.

Excellent location to metro, although not a huge amount of restaurants/cafes super close (although not far walk). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Able to leave our bags safely and securely after check out before we needed to get to the train station. Room was tidied and cleaned to a good standard with teas, coffees and toiletries topped up daily.

I have sensitive back, that’s why the bed wasn’t suitable for me, it is good but a bit hard for me

The hotel looks and feels new! I love the ambience and cleanliness is superb! The room was enough for two people, but small if you have 4 luggages. The location is perfect as it is next to the metro and cafes and esp Eiffel Tower. I love this hotel. They provided good amenities too.

We booked 2 rooms for this trip as we were 4 women. We did arrive early and we were told none of our rooms were ready and not to return until 3:00pm. Also, our rooms were across the hall instead of beside each other. Not a big deal. They did keep our luggage for us which was great.
Room was good. Had what we needed. Felt very safe. Location of the hotel was very good.

Booking mistakes
Even though I had required a twin room on booking, booking had not done the 'job' of indicating twin and kept twin or double. Once at the hotel, the desk assistants were really helpful and nice. We couldn't get a twin but I asked for an extra blanket to fix the bed and make it a twin...

The room was small, as was the the bathtub. Very small :)
Simple, convenient hotel for a short stay in Paris. The room was clean with a private bathroom. Good wifi and buffet breakfast.
