Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe property consists of 1 bedroom (double bed) and 1 main living room (2 double size sofa beds). Worked for 4 adults. Would struggle with more.
No breakfast provided but the location of the apartment is excellent ! Separate toilet and shower facilities. Good / spacious shower area with hot water. Decent storage facilities (although one half of the cupboard was for private use). Sebastien, the person managing the apartment was excellent and easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp. We recommend booking your ski gear from NetSki (which is less than a minute walk from the apartment). Super helpful and friendly (you can store your shoes and skis there at the end of the day). From there you can ski down to the main lift area accessing Bollin, Lanches, Tichot and Grand Motte Funicular within a minute. You are also less than a minute (short walk uphill in ski boots) to the Tufs lift which gets you over to Val d'Isere area in 10 mins. Highly recommend!

New ZealandWifi didn't work, but fortunately we had plenty of our own data.
We are an adult family getting together Xmas and on a budget! This was perfect for us. Certainly not luxury, but warm and functional and a central location. The two couches in the living room open out into double beds. The bedroom double bed was also comfy. Small kitchen but plenty of trays for the oven and pots for the double hotplate. Having a dishwasher was fantastic. Upgraded bathroom w great shower. SO good having a small washing machine too. Lovely views from the 5th floor windows, 2 mins walk to the ski field lifts, and to the village and supermarket (but do your big shop in Maurice st Bourg or Lyon!). Sebastian the concierge was extremely helpful and good to deal with. Merci!

Switzerland- The WiFi didn't work. I informed the host 2 times, but there was no reaction at all. As a foreign tourist with high costs for data roaming, this is a no-go! - The apartment is located in a remote village, where in June every store and restaurant were closed. As a trekker without a car, it took me 30'-40' to walk to the next grocery store in Tignes (for one way!) - There were extremely high fees for cleaning, towels and bed linen. But even then, they ask you to do half of the job for the cleaning staff. Compared to other apartments I rented, there were no helpful facilities like salt, oil or shower

United KingdomThe decoration of this apartment is what let it down. Get rid of the pink walls in the bedroom and the graffiti door and stick to simple neutral colours as this would give a much better first impression. Some of the fixtures and fitting need updating but overall for a one night stay it was fine.
A reasonably spacious apartment that was clean and had a good shower. The double bed was really comfortable and the sofa beds were better than most the kids have slept on. The pre-arrival information we received was excellent, the messages from the owner/manager gave the impression that they really cared.

United KingdomThe ski locker was a little on the small side for 4 adults but this wasn’t too much of a problem as we kept boots in the provided tray in the flat instead.
A fantastic property for 4 adults - very close to lifts, shops and restaurants! We will definitely be staying again.
