How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would give this hotel 100% across the board if they had better coffee making facilities in the room. I know it sounds minor however, I love a coffee when I get up and a small pod machine is common in a lot of hotels these days.
Very welcoming and excellent service. Room clean and well laid out. No view, but this is not an issue as it is in a side street. It wouldn't stop us staying again. In fact we would love to see Orlèane in the summer as it is a beautiful place and this is where we will book. P.S. Put EV charging on your site. I found out when I was leaving. The photo we added is about 20m from the hotel. The photo is right next to the Hotel.

The bedroom smelt of drains on arrival but we opened the window and that helped!
The breakfast was excellent. What made the stay so good was the quality of the staff. Alexei was extremely helpful, considerate and polite. He was outstanding. The lady in charge of breakfast was very helpful and polite. Thank you to Alexei and his team.

The room is snazzy, but very inefficient with awkward use of space which posed a few minor problems. But that's the designer's fault.

The room was quite small.
The bed was comfy. The bedroom overlooked the courtyard so even though the hotel is in the centre of town it was very quiet. All the members of staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The cycle storage was excellent (a locked room in a secure underground garage).

Access and parking is tricky but there is nothing they can do about it given the location in historic old buildings and tiny streets.

The only thing is that the rainhead shower didn't work, but there was a small attachment that did, so we were able to shower just fine.
Great location near central square. We had time for a wander about and a look at the historic streets and the outside of the Cathedral before it got dark. We were very close to streets with plenty of restaurants.

Parking is tricky, garage space tight. Finding the hotel not easy.
Very helpful staff, special mention to Athénais for her help with parking & where to visit. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Orléans. Parking is opposite the hotel but need to reserve as it’s limited.

The room was quite small. Which - that’s life in a city for you. But I was glad we were there only one night. Any longer would’ve felt claustrophobic.
The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, especially in helping my husband fit our SUV into the parking garage space.

You can’t make a room bigger .
Excellent location, everything around the corner. Room is a little bit small, not a big surprise for Europe. Staff is very good and taking his job very seriously. Big plus is a very good breakfast with a lot of choices ( all is very tasty). Fresh orange juice is fantastic!

For a budget hotel it was fine but the shower lacked power.
Excellent location in the centre of Orleans. It has its own payable parking but parking is free on the street outside from 6pm to 9am. The staff were very friendly.

Rooms are very small, but for a couple on nights no problem.
Location is as good as it gets right in the city center. The hotel private parking in a locked garage (book in advance and pay fee when you check in). The friendliness of the staff, very kind and helpful. We chose to have breakfast outside at a nearby restaurant, so no personal experience, but looked ok when we walked past in the morning.

Room was a bit tired. Bathroom could do with some attention. Limited tea/coffee provisions without a teaspoon! TV should be a smart tv but was v basic.

Our only disappointment was that the management omitted to warn us that the olympic flame was passing through Orleans that evening so that the area around the hotel was cut off and so we were not able to check in until very late. To their credit they were very apologetic, and gave us a free breakfast.
The facilities are very modern and the hotel has taken great care to provide top class fixtures and fittings. The breakfast was excellent. The private parking was very secure and convenient.
