How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A rare find. Usually go for popular brands. Location excellent. Staff could not have mean more helpful. Hotel spotless, as was the bedroom, and the bed was so comfy. It’s in a really calm district, very authentic French 🇫🇷 will definitely be back.

I WOULDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING.
THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT AS THE METRO STATION IS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL SO CARRYING LUGGAGE WHEN TRAVELING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT WAS NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL DECORATED. ALL THE STAFF WITH NO EXCEPTION WAS FRIENDLY, POLITE AND READY TO SOLVE ANY PROBLEM THAT MIGHT COME UP DURING THE STAY. ESPECIALLY REDOUANE WITH HIS READINESS, WARM SMILE AND KINDNESS MADE ME FEEL THAT I WAS A FAMILY MEMBER. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE GOOD JOB YOU ARE DOING.

Exceptional location next to Metro station, and close to Eiffel Tower. Very clean and great room, with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Very kind staff.

Nothing! We loved it and we love Paris
Very central location Directly next to metro which was brilliant for getting out and exploring. We were upgraded to a suite for free as it was my husbands 40th Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Champagne in the room was a lovely touch and staff were friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back Thank you!

The staff were super friendly! We loved that it was a minute walk to a train station. It made getting around so easy. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Location was perfect to see the city centre of Paris. The Eiffel Tower was about 15-20 mins walk. The hotel itself was very quiet and staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was also good, a variety of pastries/bread, spreads and fresh juices to name a few.

The hotel was in a great location, the room was very quiet and comfortable. It was very clean and was exactly like the pictures. The water bottles, tea and coffee were a lovely touch. The staff were always helpful and pleasant.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was good. Hotel Vi Eiffel is a wonderful place to be,, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants within reach.
Yes, the breakfast was average but good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Over and above we received good hospitality.

Shower dripped constantly so had to keep bathroom door closed to get to sleep. Payed for a larger than standard room but the odd room layout meant paying the extra was probably a waste of money. Very limited number of English channels on TV
Very comfortable, quiet and well-located for access to the metro, buses and main tourist attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. Plenty of natural light, good reading lamps.

Rooms are pretty small, but the price for the location is great so if you don't mind a small room this is a great choice. Showers leak less than average for France.
Great location, upgraded due to a water issue with the original room and free breakfast which was fair!
