How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The restaurant turned out to be a Court Paille directly attached to the hotel. The food was typical burger bar but they had pretentious to grandeur with overpriced specials. Stay at the hotel byf EAT ELSEWHERE

The dinner was not very good.

We had breakfast 15 early and it was not a problem. Dinner in the restaurant was good too, value for money. Staff was super friendly and my room was clean and comfortable.

We wanted an extra pillow but none were available.
Good location just off the A10 toll. Fuel, shops and supermarket close by. Free parking at the hotel which has a nice restaurant. Rooms are basic but perfectly adequate. Staff were Friendly and helpful. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Tried to have dinner in the Restaurant and staff allocated us a table and then basically ignored us, so after 15 minutes we left after not even being offered a drink. Very disappointing after a long drive. However, morning staff were excellent and breakfast was good.

My only gripe about this hotel is that the parking is coupled with parking for the restaurant and late arrivals might have difficulty in obtaining a space. Having used this hotel quite extensively whilst pulling a trailer I have managed to find a parking place at the property out of the way of the main car park without having to uncouple the trailer and utilise two parking bays.The hotel kindly showed me where to park with my trailer some time ago and I have been using the same spot ever since.
We've used this hotel as a one night stop-over for the past 10+ years and have always found the rooms to be clean and adequate. We use the attached restaurant for our evening meal which, on the last occasion was poor, but on this occasion -due to a late arrival - we decided to try it again and found that the service and standard had improved. It is not a quiet hotel and is always busy, but the rooms are comfortable and we've never been bothered by noise. Although we have had breakfast in the restaurant before, for the past few occasions we have tended to go elsewhere as the cost of the breakfast has risen and we believe that our needs can be met elsewhere for considerably less. That said, there are a number of places in the vicinity to cater for our breakfast which makes a further plus point for staying here, added to which there is a significant shopping mall just over the road which allows us to do final shopping before returning to England. All in all a comfy and convenient stop-over hotel.

Used the hotel for a night on travel down to Spain. Check in no problem, close to the motorway and a macdonalds easily accesed by foot. Parking was good, plenty of room. Hotel good and comfy. Slept well.

As long as you don't expect any extra frills you will not be disappointed
Ibis just get it right for when you're on a road trip. Basic bit clean. Decent food, comfy bed and easy parking.

Greater choice of food on evening meal menu.
Comfortable room with air conditioning. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. We were able to take our evening meal up to our room which suited us. Helpful staff.
