How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Inside insolation - we could hear the TV of another room. That was acceptable as it got turn off early enough.
Ample car park. Close to the airport. Close to supermarket 'Auchan'. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Kettle with complimentary tea/coffee. Clean. Good value.

Walls a bit thin. TV noise heard from other rooms.

It would be better to have a walk in shower rather than hipbath.
This is basic hotel which gives a lot. It is clean, friendly and helpful staff, bed comfortable and OK breakfast.

The walk to the airport, the foot path, or lack of was terrible.if the city authorities do not maintain this walkway, especially at the motorway underpass and on the hill leading up to the roundabout, the hotel should undertake to do it. A landscaper for 2 hours a month would make a big difference. We had a childs push chair and 3 suitcases, so it was quite difficult to navigate. Or the hotel should provide a basic airport transfer service

Ideal when travelling by car. Plenty of parking space. Motel style. No frills. Easy layout. Good location next to a large supermarket. Excellent swimming Pool. Friendly and efficient staff.

The restaurant food was bland a lacking. The vegetable starter was akin to fauna road kill, it looked and tasted as if somebody had followed a flail mower and picked up the cuttings. Terrible value for money.

The smell from the waist pipe from the bathroom. The mattress was a bit slopped to one side and too soft.

We didn't want anyone cleaning or entering our room, so we put a do not disturb sign on the door. When we came back, we saw that the curtain in the room had been pulled back, the do not disturb sign was inside the room, and the bath mat in the bathroom was moved. Someone had clearly been in our room, and for what reason? It wasn't to clean as the room was in the state that we had left it in aside from the things I previously mentioned. If they had entered accidentally, the least they could have done was let us know about it, but they didn't, so for us, it was a breach of privacy. Would have given a higher rating if not for this issue.

Could do with more direction signs to hotel and off estate

Hotel lacked ambience.
The breakfast was good with healthy choices. Although the location was at a busy intersection its soundproofing was good. We had a good night's rest.

The colour scheme of the room was quite depressing, a paint refresh would be beneficial. The provision of tea/coffee in the room was quite poor and reception were not able to provide any milk etc. There was quite a lot of road noise.
We had an early flight out of Carcassonne so we chose the Kyriad for it's proximity to the airport. The hotel is located on an industrial/retail park but was easy to find and well signposted. The Reception team were very friendly and efficient. The room was basic but clean and quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site and we had a drink at the bar. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from using the pool area but it looked well designed outside. It was approximately a 10 minute walk to the airport so we saved on the cost of a taxi.
