How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was excellent, nothing to change.
The extra garden at the back was a great surprise, excellent for the dog,very secure. Brilliant idea. Also was great the dog could be with us e.g breakfast

No fridge in the room and only 1 chair. No slippers, tooth brush or water were were provided in the room
We had a slightly bigger room but there was only 1 chair available. There was no fridge in the room. It was ok with us as we were there for 1 night only. This hotel is more suited for people on business. Breakfast was good

We arrived early and the staff let us into the room because we'd driven overnight from Benidorm. Like Offering sanctuary to our poor souls. Very appreciated and they were friendly and perfect. Room had also an outside area which was unexpected and great.

Where you hold the bathroom door was very dirty. It is critical to clean handles and around each day and all of them in the room and everywhere in the hotel. I couldn't plug my hybrid car because there is no standard 220V plug and the charger supplied has no cable.

I travelled down from Calais and didn’t arrive until 1130 pm. However, having called the reception, a key was left in a coded box so I could still access my room after reception had closed. Great service

2 hours before arrival we received a call that the accommodation we had booked several months before was cancelled. The hotel offered another hotel that had a lower standard and could hardly get a parking space.

Ease of access and they have rooms with a garden for our dogs
We always stay here on our way through from Spain to the channel tunnel. It’s brilliant for us.

Great room, exactly as requested. Best greeting from man on reception - welcoming and friendly, he was an outstanding young man that made us feel like nothing would be too much trouble.

I would definitely stay here again. The place is great—comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean. The free parking is a convenient perk. The rooms are well-insulated, as I didn't hear any noise from other guests. The staff is exceptionally nice and friendly.

Nothing except a little out of town but we knew that.
Everything else, also we could get our caravan in the car park for the night. Good dog facilities too.

Sadly, we booked because of the internet and netflix in the room reviews. (We have been camping for a month). Apparently they changed the system before arrived which meant we had nothing. WiFi didn't connect with the TV and the WiFi itself dropped every 2minutes and required a ridiculous email, phone number sign in. Unusable. The showers lacked any pressure.
The man at reception could not have been more welcoming and professional. He took time to explain the area and give us advice. Nothing was too much trouble. The best service we have encountered in any hotel.

A cosy small hotel. It was very clean. The beds were absolutely comfortable. The bathroom had a big shower and separate toilet. The garden was beautiful with modern garden furniture and Mediterranean trees and plants. The breakfast was good as well. They even had fresh orange juice. We always stay here on our journey from Germany to Spain. I absolutely recommend this hotel!!

it feels more like a youth hostel than a hotel and it is a bit far from the beach. the price is extremely unreasonable for what you get. even though we came in August, more than 200€ per night in a place like this does not make sense at all.
it was the only one available for our dates
