Location was perfect for our drive from UK to Costa del Sol, not far from the motorway exit. Carpark wasn't locked/secure, but we felt that our car was safe there. Rooms were compact, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (kettle, tea & decaf coffee, 2 milk cups, soap & shower gel). We asked for a quiet room which is what we got. This hotel is pet friendly and was fine for our dogs. There is a very small grass area in front and behind the hotel to give the dogs a comfort break. Reception is not 24hr but they give clear instructions on how to access your room if you'll be arriving out of hours. For the price we felt this hotel was great value and would stay there again.

Nothing ,there is absolutely nothing not to like about this gem of a place.

The staff , Claire is excellent, everytime you walk through the door you are met with a big smile and a very warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for Claire or the rest of the staff . Its just off the motorway, no more than 5 mins your at the hotel so its convenient for travel between France and Spain . Its also very pet friendly.

After driving moor than 760 km to reach a place to rest, this hotel was not a good place to stay. Maybe because it was a Sunday, the gentleman at the reception did not asked-us to see our identification and was only interested in selling us breakfast for the next morning. Our room was drab, without character, cold (it was a wall heater in the room that needed a degree in advanced electronics to make it work) and above all with dubious security. To test the safety of the electronic lock on my room door i manage (without great trouble) to open my room from the outside corridor of access with a simple credit card inserted between the door frame. We slept with a chair and our cases blocking the door.

Paid for breakfast, also expected to be able to have evening meal in restaurant but all were closed, so poor substitute breakfast at bar, very unsatisfactory.

The room was on the ground floor which was great because we had a dog with us, but the smell from the toilet/shower was very smelly (problem with the drains) we didnt raise this, mainly because we had unpacked and didnt want to move, so we deceided not to use the shower room.
