Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe accesible room needs some thought. There is only one handrail next to the toilet making it very difficult. The bathroom mirror is set at a standing height, impossible for someone in a wheel chair. There is very little space for toiletry items in the bathroom. Bedside tables with drawers in all rooms or storage space would be helpful. (we had two rooms, one had bedside tables with storage, the other did not.
The hotel is located on the beach front and a short stroll in to town, perfect location. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of food. The breakfast room is very small but in good weather I am sure the hotel would utilise their outdoor space as well.

United KingdomOur room was on the small side. Breakfast not included in room price (and expensive if you want to pay for breakfast in the hotel)
Brilliant location in heart of town and by the beach. Peaceful hotel pool which was kept clean and tidy, with plenty of loungers, and subtle background music (thankfully no booming loud speakers!) Very comfortable bar/lounge area for escaping the sun. Modern bedroom and bathroom, stylishly decorated. Super staff - attentive but not overbearing.

United KingdomOur room (Bougainvillea) was next to a balcony lounge area which was really noisy until late one evening which made sitting on our balcony a no go, but otherwise it was a lovely little area with view over the pool and view of the sea. Our room phone didn’t work to call for room service and we weren’t advised to call their external number from our mobile until our last day which was a shame. The all day looped pool music until 10pm was a little loud and not to our taste but it was a younger vibe at the hotel so this wouldn’t be a negative for most visitors I’m sure 😊we would definitely return but maybe just to a different room
Very modern, tastefully decorated and clean. Perfect location for prom area and oyster port (a must see) free parking available outside on the quiet street rather than having to pay for the hotels own parking. Pool area was lovely and clean, with fresh towels on the loungers, and attentive bar service. Staff always on hand and keen to assist. Bed was very comfy and air con was practically silent! Major bonus. We were really impressed with all the facilities and staff professionalism

SpainThe breakfast was a little bit expensive. 18€ per person is too much for a hotel like this in that place and in France

FranceTea & coffee making facilities in the room but no milk and only enough products for one cup each. Having said that when we discovered no milk at 7.30am we called reception and staff brought us some milk immediately. Continental breakfast was the most we've paid 18 euros per person. Cooked breakfast was 25 euros and just cant bring myself to pay 50 euros for breakfast!
Great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful and friendly.

GermanyNothing in mind. It's a pity, but the small beaches are not serviced by bars / Hotels / sun lounger. It's not the kind of high-level beaches like Cote-a-Azur etc.
One of the best Holiday-Boutique-Hotels we ever stayed. Small, calm, TOP-Service Team (Ghislan!!!) with a very discrete, kind and emphatic behavior. This Hotel ist focused to offer a relaxed stay. No Childs, no Dogs; Very stylish hotel rooms and we think the air condition was probably one of the best in our travel history (absolutely quiet, high efficient); The exterior - like pool & bar nice, chilled sound carpet, fantastic seafood focused restaurants and "cabanas" around. For a couple, searching just für relaxed stay, good food, no big trips (only Cap Feret, Dune Pilat, Pyle and Arcachon are interesting) - perfect place. Save parking possible.

NetherlandsNothing , it was so good we booked for an extra night.
Superbly located newly built boutique hotel on the shoreline of the Bassin d’Archason. Wonderful interior design and high-quality materials making you feel surrounded by luxury and comfort. Secluded garden with swimming pool, bar and relax terrace on the first floor and the beach just behind the building. The staff is excellent, and makes every effort to make you feel at home and taken care of. Very nice breakfast. Andernos les Bains is a charming village with lots of boutiques and restaurants, and not to forget the small port within 10 minutes walking distance, where you can eat oysters fresh from the sea at the oyster bars or in one of the 5 restaurants. The Atlantic coast beach is with in half an hour drive and this is also a great area for bicycling or walking.

GermanyThe music in the hotel's outside bar played into the night. It was not overly loud but it was audible in our room - while everything else was really quiet. As there was no one in the bar, it was unclear why the hotel would want to disturb the silence and blend out the lovely sound of the waves with this bothersome music. In fairness: we did not ask for the music to be turned down and expect that the truly sweet staff would have turned it down or off had we asked. Overall, we had an amazing stay!
This hotel is simply marvellous - great view of the ocean, great location right on the beach, charming staff, extremely comfortable beds. We had a great stay and will certainly return soon!
