Nothing negative

The tranquility and the location, the uncomplicated and personal elegance, and the expressive feeling of interesting and experienced personalities. My first time to Sète and I got the rest and peace that I was looking for. Although ‘out of season’ there was plenty going on and I ate very well at nearby restaurants and Les Halles. I really only experienced a very small part and this has encouraged me to start planning my return visit.

When you come by car there is no possibility to park and take out the luggage in front of the hotel. On the contrary if you find a parking spot nearby you can safely leave your car for the night. Breakfast is tasteful but very modest.

Beautifully located near the canal, restaurants and old city center. Beautiful buildind and entrance. Breathtaking view on the canal and fisherman boats.

Nothing really. It’s slightly tired but still so charming.

Such a lovely little hotel with amazing retro style. Fantastic location which is central but not as crazy as the other quais. We were there during the jousting festival so it was great to have a quieter spot. Although the music still rages on until 4am ;)

The rooms are not perfect but the aircon & comfortable bed made up for that.

The staff were extremely kind, warm and lovely! I’m an English speaker and the staff greeted me each day so warmly. The property is in a perfect location.,Superb aircon & lift to each floor of the decadent old building. The rooms are very comfortable and I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay for 4 nights.

For this price, breakfast should be included. I went to their lovely café at the front of the hotel to just enjoy a pain au chocolat and a coffee, which was only a few euros, whereas the petit déjeuner inside was I believe €15 and there was not much at all - no eggs or anything like that.

Beautiful style - easily one of the most beautiful buildings in Sète. The art, the design, the light. And the staff were super lovely.

Did not understand some previous reviews. One criticised space for parking, but found no issue there. Also one in particular critical of staff but I found all of them helpful and more than willing to help with any language barrier. Also breakfast criticised by some, again good. I sometimes wonder if the problem is with the reviewer?

All good. Reception both efficient and very helpful especially to my wife who currently has serious problems with walking due to severe muscular problems in her leg. Special thanks to Ann for her help. Advised where to eat and happily offered to make booking. I paid for secure parking. Very good with helpful staff assisting. A very pleasant stay. Would certainly return.

Lack of facilities in the room. Breakfast was just okay.

The Hotel is in a great location and on checking in, we were not so happy with our room and the receptionist quickly organised a room with Canal view which made a huge difference to our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful and that also added to the pleasure of staying at L' Orque Bleue.
