I had no complaints - just my failure to find the switch for the outside shutters! There wasn't any information in the room about the facilities etc and the light switches were different to the norm too.

I had a room upgrade, which I was very happy with. I had plenty of space, a good terrace and really good bathroom. There was plenty of wardrobe space, a separate toilet, all the linen I needed and more. The bed was very comfortable. Being five floors up, the room was quite warm at night despite it being December, so I slept with the patio doors ajar. There were double patio doors and I felt perfectly safe. The only thing I didn't find out was that what I thought was a light switch operated the outside shutters so my room was a little too light. Breakfast, a buffet, was from 7am and perfectly adequate, consisting of a good variety of hot and cold items, breads and pastries, juices, cereals and hot drinks etc. I ate dinners there in the evenings, usually the set menu, and I found the choices were excellent. I found all the staff excellent and very helpful. The location was fine; a couple of blocks back from the sea front and very convenient for the buses. It was easy to walk to the old town of Antibes. The buses are frequent and inexpensive. The railway station is not far away either.

Walk-in shower would have benefitted from a grip rail on the wall of the shower head. Pillows were somewhat uncomfortable.

Only a tiny cupboard for clothing. On arrival room smelled very unpleasant but this was rectified whilst we were at the beach. On several evenings the communal area near bar had a horrible sewerage smell! I do think hotel is good value for money and we should have booked a bigger room but we did have a balcony which was nice.

The access to the parking is not straightforward; one needs to call every time to open the gate, which is inconvenient.

This property is situated just a few minutes from the beach. The room was large and impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was delightful.

The bar did not advertise its opening hours, but this did not affect my stay at all.

The hotel's location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and shops. Parking was available for a small additional fee, and the room was clean and tidy. I noticed that the hotel also accommodated some of the older generation, but this didn't bother me at all; I thought it was a wonderful idea overall.

The light switches were not properly functioning and would deserve an overhaul.

The room service was a great resource, since we were with a baby and basically obliged to stay in the room in the evening. The breakfast was also nice, just a bit expensive since we decided to go for it on the spot. Beds were comfy and the cleaning excellent: little advice, book hotel option and not residence to have it included in your rate. The place is well shielded from the outside noise and has a very pleasant inner courtyard.

I found the breakfast very poor. It was always cold and limited in choice.

I was disappointed with this accommodation. It has an elderly permanent residency/hotel, and I would have preferred if I knew this. As it does not say on their website.

It could have been a 9, but unfortunately, my experience was very bad when I entered the hotel. I had just said: "Hello, nice to meet you! I have a reservation for.." and the hotel concierge started laughing at me, looking at her colleague, saying: "Oh, les italiennes..." and she added something, but I was so upset by her behaviour I didn't want to keep listening to her conversation in front of me. I don't know if being kind and polite is something Italian (sorry, but I can speak French), but I think it's unacceptable to be treated like that.

The position is great, and the room is super comfortable! We were 4 and the room was so roomy it looked like being in an apartment.

There was live music in the hotel one evening and I'm sure the guests had fun that night, but I couldn't go to bed early even though I was exhausted because the music was too loud and they were playing just in front of my balcony. The interiors are really old-fashioned. The hotel could benefit from a re-modelling. The toilet and the bathroom are in separate rooms. Even though cleaning staff cleaned the whole room, they generally never touched the kitchen.

Great location, 5 minutes away from the beaches by walking. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Sometimes the cleaning staff forgot to leave me extra shampoo, but the reception was kind enough to hand me some when I asked. Rooms were spacious. The bed was quite large. Window shutters are great for privacy at night. The kitchenette I had was super cool. There was plenty of utensils and kitchen stuff to choose from. I cooked in my hotel room most of the evenings. Overall, I had good time staying in this hotel.

Balcony chairs were a little uncomfortable (plus the view was of the road so not massively compelling). Could have done with a couple of bathrobes for post-shower modesty! Not enough coffee sachets in the room. No iron in room

Location excellent, just a short walk to the beach. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Comfy beds. Restaurant/bar staff were excellent – more than happy to set up a table in the shade and bring us drinks

Smell of cigarettes in the landing to access the flat.
