Poor sound proof from neighbours even upstairs, but sound proof from outside is good, can’t hear noise if you close the windows.

Clean, nice staff, good breakfast included. Feel very welcomed when we arrived. The reception took time to show us around and great us all the time when see us. The Chinese lady works in the dining room is super nice and efficient, I’ve been there 5 nights, saw her every morning with enthusiasm.

This was the best hotel I've been in Paris. Already the sincerely warm and friendly welcome positively surprised me at the check-in. Friendliness stayed until the last second of our stay. The room was romantic, cosy, super clean. The breakfast super nice. And the secret and beautiful balcony over the rooftops of Montparnasse..... Ahhh... I will never ever compromise with anything else! We loved it.

Only stayed one night and did not see other parts of the hotel apart from check in and room. Rooms were sparking clean with nice new bathroom fixtures.

The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. The breakfast which was included in the price was very nice. The room was quite small but when on vacation visiting Paris a person doesn’t really need more - it had an amazing balcony which was amazing for having a coffee during the day or an evening drink there. The location was convenient - walking distance to a metro station and a few nice restaurants around.

Location is amazing, with subway and lots of restaurants in the proximity. Shops and supermarkets also in walking distance. We liked our triple room a lot, decently sized and extremely clean! The matresses were also great!!!

Bit of a pain having to buzz the person on duty when trying to enter after hours, but otherwise everything was great.

Perfect hotel for a weekend in Paris. The room was a bit small but has been renovated and was perfect for a solo traveler. The closest metro station is only a 5 min walk and there are two excellent patisseries right across from it if you decide to skip the breakfast as I did. I will stay again.

A clean and peaceful environment to explore Paris from. Rooms were very clean and a comfortable and spacious size. All the amenities you could need and a good breakfast with both Parisian and continental styles. Super friendly, responsive and helpful staff. I would return to this hotel

We stayed in the hotel 4 days at the end of April 2024. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. We had been to Paris 2 years earlier and the hotel (not Moderniste) was said to be typical for Paris, relatively clean, without any major amenities. Hotel Moderniste was amazing, clean, fragrant, larger rooms, very nicely decorated, great bathroom. I was incredibly impressed by the information that coffee/tea is available 24 hours a day free of charge. It's a small thing, but it's nice - we know that most of the time the guests see Paris, but the thought that they could go down for a delicious coffee at any time was great. The breakfasts were delicious - the quality of the products was excellent. Rooms cleaned every day. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The view from the window of the beautiful Paris tenement house is priceless. There's a bar on the corner, shops right next to it, very close to the metro/bus. Most attractions take about half an hour to get to by metro, but it's definitely worth it. I recommend the Moderniste hotel to everyone
