The room was smaller than expected and at times guests could be heard quite loudly through the walls.

I didn't feel safe walking around there at night with my husband and wouldn't walk at night on my own. We were fine, no one even looked at us (other than trying to sell cigarettes), but first night in a new, big city was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel was safe enough though, the front door locked and someone on reception the whole time.

The hotel was good value for price. Room was small, but had everything we needed and tidy. Bathroom was tiny, but good water pressure. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was simple, not too many options but enough. The location was good in that it was a 10min walk from Gare du Nord, and 2min to the La Chapelle Metro. 15-20mim walk to the start of Monmartre district.

The wifi connection was just too slow.

The bedroom was cosy with good heating when it was cold outside (December). The mattress was very comfortable. The bedroom (double) was a bit on the small size but very functional 👍🏼

The bathroom was dirty, just not cleaned and moldy. Whoever get's paid for cleaning there should be replaced if they want to have clients. There was a weird smell of a sweaty men coming through an air freshener. And I could hear every movement in the room above us.

Overall it was good but only for one night. I wouldn't like to stay there for longer. What sold me is the location and price.

No tv in the room. Noticed there was renovation going on in the property, may be this was the reason. But a tv should be must.

Location is very good. Hotel is very near to metro and Paris main train station. Many varieties of ethnic restaurants and shops around. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good experience and value for money

I was displeased with the fact that we had to wait for the owner to open the hotel door each time we wanted to enter the apartment, which was quite inconvenient. It would have been far more practical to provide us with a key card or some form of independent access. Along with the other issues, such as having to request toilet paper—a basic necessity that should have been supplied—and the evident lack of cleanliness (the unmopped floor, dusty canopy bed, and inadequately cleaned shower with traces of hair from previous guests), this further added to the overall dissatisfaction. Furthermore, the owner's behavior was inappropriate, as she knocked only once before entering the room without waiting for our permission.

However, I did appreciate having access to a window for ventilation.
