Wished for less rain!

Veronique provided a delicious breakfast every morning! We had chocolate croissants, fresh bread, fresh fruit, a big carafe of coffee, butter, assorted jellies, yogurts, freshly squeezed orange juice, two types of cheeses and a small basket of chocolates! She asked us what time we wanted our breakfast delivered and even made us American coffee, she was friendly and extremely accommodating! The cottage we stayed in was beautiful and clean with our own patio, fire pit and river gurgling next to us. So picturesque.

The staircase to the apartment in the attic is rather steep, so it may not be for everyone. After the tourist buses leave Giverny, I found it challenging to find a restaurant to have dinner. I recommend highly the restaurant Oscar in the Musée des impressionismes.

I stayed in the attic room that was furnished with taste, clean, spacious and light. It has an open space concept. Véronique brought the breakfast to the room every morning. It was simple and sufficient. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for excursions.

Everything was great. The only minor thing would be maybe a clock in the unit or extra lamp. Otherwise, all the amenities were fantastic.

Veronique was a great host and great communicator. She let me check in a little early and the unit was well-equipped and very comfortable. The grounds of this property are amazing, I wish I had more time to just hang out in the garden and field. It is a little bit away from the main area of Giverny, so not ideal for someone who wants to be super close to the Monet Gardens, but I really appreciated having this little bit of distance and there were bikes that added to the adventure. Breakfast every morning was also excellent and very convenient.

Beautiful luxury apartment set in beautiful gardens by the Seine close to Monet’s house and gardens. Lovely hostess laid on a superb breakfast and assisted us with restaurant bookings for dinner.

This cabin is amazing. It was perfect for our family of four. The view of the river was beautiful, the sounds of birds chirping and sheep in the background made it just idyllic! Veronique is a sweet and accommodating hostess and the breakfasts each morning were fresh and delicious. Just perfect.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We were given a superb continental breakfast with fresh fruit, lovely cheese, wonderfully fresh baguette and pain aux chocolat, orange juice and coffee. The property was of a high standard and set in a beautiful garden. Also very convenient for visiting Monet's Garden in Giverny.

The property was close to Monet’s garden set in amazing gardens and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and unique. Breakfast was served in the house and was tasty, locally sourced produce. Veronique was a delightful host and we felt privileged to spend a few days in her wonderful, welcoming home.

The breakfast is okay. The location is very comfortable. The car park is in front of the property. The garden, the river near the property is very beautiful and peaceful. The property is very neat and cleanliness. Unfortunately, on the days we stayed, it's raining and very cold because the starting of Winter season. So, we could not enjoy the garden and river. We would like to come back again.

My overnight stay started with a warm welcome and ended the next morning with a personalized breakfast brought to my cottage. In between, I spent a lovely evening sitting by the river with a glass of wine, watching the ducks swim by. Perfect!

Breakfast was excellent all freshly prepared. The location of L’Oree was very good for our visit to Monet’s house and gardens. The accommodation was very comfortable and with good seating areas outside to relax.

Everything. It is a magical destination. The accomodation was spacious with everything you need for a pleasant stay including a small kitchen. The communal gardens are wonderful with many beautiful seating areas including one by the river. Veronique was a wonderful host who prepares a lovely breakfast every morning at your chosen time. Giverny is a beautiful destination but also the whole area is scenic with nice towns nearby. Paris is only 50 mins on the train and we enjoyed a day trip. We had 4 nights in Giverny. Enough time to explore and relax.

We had one of the most wonderful stay at this location. Véronique was so welcoming and attentive, the room was simply astonishing, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the location, which was very close to Giverny but also quiet and relaxing. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a special place to stay in
