We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe room was very small, 15meters squared. We only stayed one night on our way to Lyon. It met our needs, but would be tight for a longer stay.
Good location, very quiet in Center of town. Beds were very comfortable and the staff super helpful. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special.

LithuaniaLocation is perfect, right outside the papal palace. They accept dogs. They have paid on-site parking (papal palace parking with direct access to hotel), which was very convenient. Great for exploring the city. Lots of great dining options nearby. Skip the on-site restaurant for dinner - go explore the city. It's fine, but there are better places within a 10-15 minutes radius by foot.

RomaniaThe hotel doesn’t look as good as it does in the pictures, in the room there was no bin at all. And the room wasn’t the least pleasent thing we experienced, the staff was very unpleasent, we arrived very late pouring rain, and she asked us fo a 100 euros garantee, as tbe room was only 165 euros. The hotel has this policy (i don’t if it’s the same for all the people, or maybe they just discriminate…) to block the 100 euros on my card, but the deblocking it means at least 10-14 days till i see the money back in my account. At the least pleasent thing the receptionist did, was tell us 3-4 times that we don’t have breakfast included and we can not just go in an eat without paying with her first, 4 times si repeated this. I travel a lot but this never happend to me before!

United KingdomWhen we arrived there was a smell of dampness which was not pleasant in the main foyer and outside our bedroom in the hallway. This made us dread what the room was going to be like inside. Fortunately the room was clean and tidy.
Mattress was very comfortable. Bar and restaurant pleasant decor. We had a problem with the room safe ,tv and the bathroom sink plug which was sorted very efficiently by staff members All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful

GermanyQuite expensive for rather cheap rooms and old and worn furniture. Even with the 20% discount the parking price has been above the official price on the plate. The staff showed no interest in helping, even after asking twice, but only pointed out that it was not their car park.

New ZealandPARKING. In a word hopeless. Avignon obviously does not thing of their visitors as far as parking is concerned especially if you have a group in a minibus, and for that reason i would never stay there again.
The location was good for visiting the city. The staff were lovely.
