How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee, rather than having to go down to the foyer / reception area.
Room was clean and the staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast was good and great value.

The location seems out of nowhere and difficult to find with GPS when entering the given address…
For this brand nice rooms clean and with a good price for a stop over Electric chargers available (type 2) and functional

The pillow cover could be different, a bit more comfortable. Nothing major. And anything else I can think of
I like everything. Good price and it was clean, comfortable, staff polite. We had a late check in and it was all good. I would definitely go back again

Clima didn’t seem to work and it was a little too warm in the room.
We wanted an overnight stay on a long road trip and this hotel fulfilled exactly our expectations. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel was very quiet and parking is fenced. Breakfast was complete and personnel were very friendly.

The fact that the young man at the reception insisted to have me pay for my room, before realizing that, as I had indeed told him, the booking had already been paid. But I suppose it will be solved in the near future, and he was very nice about it and apologetic.
The fact that I could have my dog and cat with me, and nobody frowned at us. The fact that the hotel is close to the autoroute, and this year the coordinates offered by the GPS were correct.

The hotel was difficult to find, even Google was wrong (time for an update!) Due to neon signs from other companies, the hotel’s sign was not easy to spot.The bathroom and the toilet were not clean, and some items in the bathroom were in need of repair.

Room: no ceiling lighting, very dark. Stench of smokers, although the hotel is smoking free. Holes in the bed sheets. Very dirty floor. Tiny, plastic, uncomfortable bathroom. Very very poor breakfast.
Very friendly staff. Practical for 1 night. Within walking distance from restaurants, where you can get up to 15% discount for staying at the hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel. Silent rooms. Good WiFi in the room.

During breakfast the cutlery, glasses and mugs were visibly dirty. We stayed for two nights and it happened both mornings. Breakfast very limited (baguette/croissants + marmelade). Other staff not speaking English and for some reason not understanding the most basic questions or answers spoken in beginner French. This lead to having no new towels and no children's cod because we got tired of asking. Whole hotel smelled of smoke, because people were smoking ion their rooms which is prohibited. Good pass-through hotel for saving money, but next time I think I will spend a bit more on a different hotel.
Easy checking in. Super friendly person speaking good English when checking in. Two restaurants around the corner. Shopping mall 5 minute drive. Sens has a beautiful nature park.
